Christianity EtcA Prayer For Wisdom By Www.tolulopeilori.com by BigTolulope(op): 6:29am On Dec 08, 2024
Lord,

I know that wisdom will continue to grow as a byproduct of right choices and godly responses, and as I apply Your Word to my daily circumstances. I ask You to help me make good use of the wisdom You give me every day.

Sometimes my choices may not seem clear. You are not the author of confusion, but I know I have an enemy who wants to deceive and confuse me, so please instruct me and give me a heart for Your wisdom—a growing desire for understanding and insight. I know wise choices will watch over me, keep me safe, and fill me with joy, so guide every decision I need to make today.

Help me observe lessons from all You have created—the truth principles You have built into the universe. Let me learn from the wisdom of sowing and reaping, the importance of a strong root system in life, or learning industriousness from the ant. I pray each practical and spiritual choice I make will reflect Your perfect will.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Christianity Etc15 Prayers For God’s Power By Www.tolulopeilori.com by BigTolulope(op): 4:26am On Dec 08, 2024
1, Lord, make me so mighty in wisdom that I know and taste that the height of might is childlikeness (Matthew 18:4).

2, Lord, make me so mighty in war that I defeat every impulse in my soul that destroys peace (Hebrews 12:14; Romans 14:19; Matthew 5:9).

3, Lord, make me so mighty in my hardness against bitterness that tenderness of heart is not destroyed by wounds (Hosea 11:8; Ephesians 4:32; 1 Peter 3:cool.

4, Lord, make me mightily unbending and inflexible in my Christ-exalting resolve to bend and become all things to all people that I might save some (1 Corinthians 9:22).

5, Lord, make my trunk and branches so mightily tough and impervious to wind and drought that I never cease to bear the fruit of gentleness (Galatians 5:23; James 3:17; 1 Peter 3:4).

6, Lord, make me so mighty in serpentine discernment that I see every opening for dove-like love (Matthew 10:16).

7, Lord, make me so mightily unmoved by the sting and deceits of injustice against me that I may feel and show the miracle of undeserved compassion (Luke 10:33; 15:20; Hebrews 10:34; 1 Peter 3:cool.

8, Lord, make me so mightily unyielding to the enticements of selfishness that from my heart kindness forever flows (2 Corinthians 6:6; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 4:32; Colossians 3:12).

9, Lord, make me so mightily unresponsive to the honeyed lure of self-pity that I may have ever-replenished resources to return good for evil (Romans 12:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:15; 1 Peter 3:9).

10, Lord, make me mighty with ruthless courage to cut off my hand at every trace of greed that I may be content with what I have (Philippians 4:11; 1 Timothy 6:8; Hebrews 13:5).

11, Lord, make me mighty with happy thoughts of child and wife and King to tear out my eye lest I betray their trust and lose the purity that sees my God (Matthew 5:8, 29).

12, Lord, make me so mighty against the powers of self-justification that I never lose the humility to repent and weep for my sin (James 4:9; 5:16).

13, Lord, make me so mighty in resisting the bait of frenzied productivity that I never cease to enjoy the still waters of prayer and your sweet presence (Psalm 23:2; Isaiah 46:10; Luke 10:42).

14, Lord, make me so mighty against the deadly undertow of self-reliance that I am never ashamed to trust your arm, like a child with his father, in every breaking wave (Psalm 37:3, 5; Proverbs 3:5; Galatians 2:20).

15, Lord, make me so mighty in seeing and mighty in savoring the promises of your sovereign grace that in all my sorrows I might never cease to sing your praise (Matthew 5:11–12; Acts 16:25; 2 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Peter 4:13). Amen.

Christianity EtcDid U Knw Wht A "Familiar Spirit" Is ? by BigTolulope(op): 12:56am On Dec 05, 2024
A familiar spirit is one that is familiar with you and those around you and again it often travels in family lines. Examples of this could be alcoholism, drug abuse, any type of addictive behavior, sexual sin, etc.

Another example of this could be a root of rejection, which leads to bitterness and unforgiveness. While it might not start out as something demonic, it can certainly lead to that. The biggest part of us is the temperament we were born with, but then our environment and the authority figures in our lives do a lot to shape who we become. Introverts tend to internalize their hurt feelings and over time, this can lead to bitterness and unforgiveness. Other temperaments, like choleric personalities are hot tempered, but usually get over it quickly.

When a person is always blowing up in anger, it is usually a sign that they have deep wounds and unhealed hurts, but this again can lead to a stronghold for the enemy, if we do not forgive and repent for holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness. Often, this leads to narcissism and a victim mentality. People become so consumed with themselves and their feelings, that they mentally and emotionally abuse and alienate others. And they are convinced that everyone else is the problem instead of looking inwards.

I have seen the root of rejection, bitterness and unforgiveness in my family line for two generations. I determined that I would not repeat that cycle. I want to pass on a better spiritual inheritance to our children and grandchildren, but it does not mean that I have not been tested in it. Especially when certain people are used by the enemy to bring the attacks. It seems the more we try to step into what God has called us to do, the greater the attack. It only makes me realize that we have to keep our armor on and take refuge in the Lord. As we move further into the end times, I believe the spiritual warfare will increase, but so will the level of God’s glory in our lives, as we continue to follow Him in His purpose for us. God bless you all. Amen.

Christianity EtcDo U Know The Seven Evil Spirit Of Canaan ? by BigTolulope(op): 12:56pm On Dec 04, 2024
1
Hittites- Hittite means “son of Terror” as they were descendants from “Heth” which means terror. Terror is an extreme manifestation of fear. This evil spirit works on the emotional and mental state of a human being.
2
Girgashites- Grigashite means “clay dweller”. This spirit influences people to focus on the material world and have a disdain for the spiritual world. Earthly, or Carnal mind that cannot see the behind the scene workings of the good and evil spiritual activities that influence our world.
3
Amorites-Amorite means “mountain dweller”. Just like mountains dominate and create low valleys, people under this spirit dominate others in order to practice self-exaltation and dominance. Another Hebrew word that makes up the word “Amorite” is “Amar” which means to utter or say, meaning they want others to utter their name,
4
Canaanites- Canaanite means “low lands people”. This evil spirit encourages addictions and sexual perversions. This is one of the reasons Sodom and Gomorrah are referred to as some of the cities of Canaan in Genesis 10:19.
5
Perizzites- Perizzite means “belonging to the villiage”. Villages connotate “smallness”. People that grow up in a village are exposed to limited opportunities and arrested development. This spirit produces a limited vision causing a person to see themselves as insignificant leading to laziness and poverty.
6
Hivites- Hivite means “villiager”. This is very similar to the Perizzite in the sense of “smallness”. But the Hebrew word Hivite is derived from the word “chavvah” (the original version of the name “Eve”) meaning “life” or “living”. The Hivite spirit encourages people to “live it up!” Unlike the Perizzite with a limited vision leading to poverty the Hivite is instead “lives it up” (Hedonism).
7
Jebusites- Jebusite means “thresher”. This spirit encourages others to tread or stop on other people. They cause others humiliation or to feel small in order to enforce certain social casts in order to elevate themselves in social circles. Amen.
Christianity EtcThe Most Powerful Healing Prayer By Www.tolulopeilori.com by BigTolulope(op): 3:34pm On Dec 03, 2024
Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me.
I thank you for sending your Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free.
I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me.

Loving Father,
touch me now with your healing hands,
for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.
Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son,
our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.
Cast anything that should not be in me.
Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection
by the power of Jesus’ precious blood.
Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body
to heal and make new any diseased areas
so that my body will function the way you created it to function.
Touch also my mind and my emotion,
even the deepest recesses of my heart.

Saturate my entire being with your presence,
love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of my life.
And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit
and empower me to do your works
so that my life will bring glory and honour to your holy name.
I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Ezekiel takes up an oracle against the human ruler of Tyre, an arrogant person smug enough to claim to be a god himself (28:2). God plans to bring this prince down a notch.
Christianity EtcDid U Knw When Did Satan Get So Much Power ? by BigTolulope(op): 1:21pm On Dec 03, 2024
The Tower of Babel incident is a biblical story in the book of Genesis that describes how God confused the language of a group of people who were building a tower to reach the heavens

Satan accumulated this power over the time between the Tower of Babel incident and the Jesus’ ministry:

“As the original rebel, the nachash [the Hebrew word for “serpent”] of Genesis 3 (cf. Rev. 12:9 had, by New Testament times, achieved the status of the lead opposition to Yahweh. This was part of the logic of attributing the term saṭan to him as a proper personal name. Recall as well that the nachash has been cast down to the ʾerets, a term that referred not only to ‘earth’ but also the realm of the dead, Sheol.

“The ‘original rebel,’ whose domain became earth/Sheol, nachash/Satan was perceived by Second Temple and New Testament theology as primary authority over all other rebels and their domains.”
Christianity EtcDo U Knw Satan Commands His Own Host Of Demons ? by BigTolulope(op): 12:23pm On Dec 03, 2024
The time of Jesus’ ministry, Satan had not only attained power over all the nations of the earth, but he had also amassed a following of demons.

The Jews of Jesus’ time believed that Satan was the ruler of the demons. In fact, some even claimed that it was only by Satan’s power that Jesus could cast out demons the way he did.

But Jesus says this isn’t the case: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand” (Mark 3:23–26

Freeing people from the influence of these demons was a major part of Christ’s earthly ministry—which makes sense, as Jesus came into the world to destroy the devil’s work (1 John 3:cool
Christianity EtcDid U Knw The Devil Tried To Make At Least One Deal ? by BigTolulope(op): 11:25am On Dec 03, 2024
The Scripture does tell us of at least one attempted bargain Satan tried to make.

We looked at Satan’s attempts to tempt Jesus earlier in this list. Satan offered all the kingdoms of the world to Jesus.

But there was a catch: Jesus would have to bow down and worship the devil.

Lucky for us, the Son of God will not be bartered with in this way. Jesus tells the tempter, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only’” (Matthew 4:10)
Christianity EtcDid U Knw Satan’s Power Of Death Is Broken ? by BigTolulope(op): 10:38am On Dec 03, 2024
For It turns out that Jesus’ death broke at least some of Satan’s deathly power. The author of Hebrews explains it this way:

“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death” (Heb. 2:14–15

The power of death is waning. Paul claims that death will be “swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:54. And in the book of Revelation, Christ proclaims, “I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Revelation 1:18
Christianity EtcDid U Know How The Bible Describe The Devil ? by BigTolulope(op): 8:52am On Dec 02, 2024
How the Bible describe the Devil?
The Bible uses a number of analogies regarding the Devil. These help us to understand, not his appearance, but his personality. Some of these analogies include:

An angel of light. He pretends to offer something good to try to get people to follow his teachings rather than those of God.—2 Corinthians 11:14.

A roaring lion. He fiercely attacks God’s worshippers.—1 Peter 5:8.

A great dragon. He is frightful, powerful, and destructive.—Revelation 12:9.

Christianity EtcDo You Know 7 Things The Devil Steals ? by BigTolulope(op): 7:20am On Dec 02, 2024
7 Things the devil steals
Satan is a thief. As such he is on the move to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10

There are 7 important things that Satan wants to steal from you.

1. Time.

Satan is a thief of time. This is the reason for the promise in Joel 2:25-26.

How does God restore our years? He does it by empowering us to begin doing more in less time. To accomplish more in less time.

There is a promise of Divine Speed. In 1Kings18:46, God gave Elijah supernatural speed. May God grant us speed this year in Jesus name.

2. Vision:

Satan steals vision.

What is Vision? It is the prophetic insight into God's mind and purpose for your life.

Vision also means heavenly downloads.

Vision is the spiritual navigation system for you destiny. Vision is your spiritual GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS).

If you allow Satan to steal your vision, making progress in life will be challenging!

Vision is also your special device to detect the moving targets and secret plans of the enemy.

SATAN CAN STEAL THIS!

Isaiah 42:19-20 (NKJV)

Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the LORD's servant? Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but he does not hear."

The Lord Jesus said;

Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV)

The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

The prince of this world has blinded the mind...2Cor.4:4

The philistines put out Samson's eyes. Judges 16:21

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) -Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.

3. Joy.

This is the third things that Satan steals.

Job 30:31 (NKJV)

My harp is turned to mourning, And my flute to the voice of those who weep.

God promises to restore the joy of his people.

Isaiah 51:11 (KJV)

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

4. Destiny helpers.

Satan can steal destiny helpers.

This refers to those sent to you in life. Is.61.

There are people, sent to help you, undergird you, facilitate you, support you and sponsor you.

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DREAMS IS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DESTINY HELPERS

Many times, satan fights your helpers. He accuses them to you and accuses you to them.

He misinterprets, misrepresents and misconstrues. He tries to create confusion between you send your helpers.

He may even try to kill your helpers untimely!

Lazarus was a strategic helper for Jesus. Satan attacked his body and killed him but Jesus went and raised him from the dead.

Satan may ensure that you never meet your helpers and that they never meet you.

King David was blessed with several helpers during his time.

1 Chronicles 12:18 (NKJV)

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said: "We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you." So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

1 Chronicles 12:22 (NKJV)

For at that time they came to David day by day to help him, until it was a great army, like the army of God.

May God enlarge your destiny helpers in Jesus name.

You need to stand throng against satanic attacks on your destiny helpers.

In Mark 2: 1-12 and John 5:1-9, the bible tells us of two sick men whom Jesus helped. Th first man had 4 men who were willing to go against all odds to get their friends to Jesus for help. The second man had no one to help him and for this reason, he was stranded for 38 years.

Thank God that Jesus Christ came to his rescue but he had lost 38 vital years of his life due to , " I have no man to help me..."

5. Finances.

The fifth thing Satan steals is your finances.

You lose a little here and a little there. Not a whole lot. But insignificant installment loss.

You might even be tithing and losing!

And that condition will continue except you rise and deal with the thief.

Job was a good man but he lost everything to satan in one day.

6. Health

This explains why so many people are sick.

Acts 10:38 (KJV)

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Many times in the bible, people got healed when Jesus cast out demons from them. This shows that the demons were responsible for the ill health. Luke.13:10-16

7. Wells.

That which flows. This represents your flow towards God and his to you. Gen.26:15-21 tells us that the philistines stole the wells of Isaac.

Has the enemy stolen your flow?

Do you feel like your prayer life is under a siege?

PRINCIPLES OF RECOVERY

1. Draw from divine strength on the inside.

Christ is in you and he is your strength! With him, you can conquer lions and bears.

Psalm 27:1 (KJV)

The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Colossians 1:27 (KJV)

To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Draw from divine strength on the inside. You can be strong or weak at anytime. It depends on you. The choice is yours. Eph.6:10.

David drew lots of strength by ministering to The Lord in worship and praise

Isaiah 52:1 (KJV)

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

2. Go after the lions.

Go after whatever is stealing from you and has been stolen from you.

Take the challenge. Don't spare challenges. Take them.

3. Learn to Strike at night.

Learn to fight at night. Hunt at night. Pray at night. War at night. Utilize the midnight hour to launch an attack on the enemy. This is a vital prayer strategy.

Prayer Points

1. Ask for the mercy of God over all carelessness that opened the door for the enemy

2. Ask God to restore you fully; your years, health, wealth, wells, friends, sight, joy, finances etc.

3. Attack the thief. Satan is the thief. Attack him by the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus.

4. I scatter the amalekites warring against me in Jesus name. ( read Judges 6:1-6)

Amalekites- A people that lick up or exhaust; people of lapping; a strangler of the people. Warlike; a dweller in the vale.

5. I bind all the philistines in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

Matthew 25
New International Version
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

John 20:1-18
New International Version
The Empty Tomb
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. 9 (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) 10 Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”

“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.

15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”

16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”

She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

Matthew 3:13-17
New International Version
The Baptism of Jesus
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”

15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Matthew 26:17-30
New International Version
The Last Supper
17 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

18 He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” 19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21 And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

22 They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely you don’t mean me, Lord?”

23 Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. 24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”

Jesus answered, “You have said so.”

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

30 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus Ascends to Heaven
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
