But you also need to understand what many of them are trying to do: **control the narrative through propaganda rather than debate.**

That is why I sometimes respond. Not because I expect to convince the hardened Obidient who has already made up his mind, but because public discussions are never just between two people. There are always silent readers.

If you observe carefully, many of them rarely engage the substance of the subject. Instead, they pivot to insults, ridicule, emojis, or one-liners.
