Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his last speech titled
"I've Been to the Mountaintop"

on April 3, 1968, at the Mason Temple (Church of God in Christ Headquarters) in Memphis, Tennessee. The speech primarily concerns the Memphis sanitation strike. In it, King calls for unity, economic actions, boycotts, and nonviolent protest, while challenging the United States to live up to its ideals. At the end of the speech, he discusses the possibility of an untimely death

In this powerful address, King emphasizes the importance of peaceful demonstrations and the need to guarantee that demands are heard and answered. He advocates boycotting white goods as a means of nonviolent protest, urging collective economic empowerment. King's words also presciently foreshadowed his impending assassination, yet he reaffirms that he is not afraid to die in the pursuit of justice.

Music/RadioRe: A Guide For Aspiring Musicians In Akwa Ibom by bikassava(op): 8:58am On Mar 19, 2024
Not everyone that travel to Lagos will make it, there are still home based artists that are doing well.

OldBeer:
Forget this ChatGPT trash that OP pretends to have written.

If you as an aspiring musician that wants to make it is still in that state, then you are not serious.

If you have sense, you will leave that dead place and quickly relocate to Lagos or PH. If not, you will work like an elephant and eat like an ant. The people's mentality in that state is still very primitive. They have what I call ntok ntok mentality. So don't waste your time or you will regret.

Besides, you won't even be respected as a musician. Your people will prefer to import from Lagos and pay them bountifully before recognizing you. Go to Lagos and blow. I assure you that you will gain much rewards there than in Akwa Ibom.

How do I know?
I am familiar with people who have been struggling for over 7 years to make headway in their music careers to no avail. Some have even diverted to petty trading among other things. And these are very talented musicians. If they had put in half that effort in Lagos, something would have come out at least.

Don't waste your best years sowing in a barren land if you desire to not remain a local champion.

Let he that has ears.
