What you supposed to do now is go and bring goals conceded per match and disprove your initial statement. Let me help you. Matip has conceded 0.78 goals per 90 minutes since he moved to Prem while Rudiger has conceded 0.95 goals per 90 mins.

Rudiger played with Kepa fair enough but Matip played a highline at all times. Bear in mind, you are the one who brought this comparison. I don't use Goals Conceded to compare defenders without looking at the bigger picture such as the attacking or defensive set-up of the team.

It's only Matip injury of last season and TT revival that will make Rudiger and Matip debatable if you focus solely on their records

Jorginho is a very good DM for any good attacking team. Don't forget that Sarri has also given us our best premier league finish for the past 5 years.
Sarri and tuchel are philosophical managers that need time to shape their teams in their image.

Matip has been consistent for 4 years. Rudiger has only had one great year. Don't let recency effect fool you. Matip has done way better than Rudiger in EPL. When Rudiger was playing in a back 4 like Matip does with two flying fullbacks, 5 games cannot pass without him committing an error. It is even magnanimous to make it a preference choice.

And you don't see Liverpool fans counting Fabinho errors like we used to do weekly with Jogginghoe when we weren't playing Community defence. You think you will garner 97 points and 99 points and be having people counting DM errors weekly like his biggest fans below? Even under TT, we were still counting points dropped due to Jogginghoe against Villa, Arsenal and West Brom just in the final month of last season. Don't deceive yourself.

I gave TT massive credit. I only pointed out that his system is just a quick fix since some people were using it to hail players as greater than they are and all they needed was a good manager. If those are great players, then Bosingwa, Luiz, Ramires, Meireles, Bertrand and co must be great players too for what they achieved with RDM.
