If FG accepts this plea bargaining proposal, it means either it doesn't have enough evidence to, successfully, prosecute Emefiele or some 'interested parties' know that going further with prosecution will documents and testimonies under cross examinations will implicate them or their companies directly or indirectly.

s, plea bargaining saves government money and time, but it is difficult to trust politicians to structure a deal that will ensure massive recovery of assets from Emefiele. So obviously, Nigeria will lose out again as usual. Sad!

You need to understand what plea bargain is all about well first, I agree the details of the arrangement may not be fully public but it’s definitely not because FG does not have sufficient evidence to nail emefiele rather it’s on the contrary.

She never cared. Move on!

Is it not just sad that we have hypocrites all over this country? Who is probing who? The same senate president under whose watch NDDC was meet in a mess and left in even greater mess? Nigerian politicians are more ridiculous than the average citizens.
