He wants to do away with the surname, as the surname is his grandfather's name and wouldn't want his wife or children to bear it.

Family and relationships lawyers in the house, please help on this topic. The husband-to-be, has insisted that the wife-to-be, won't be taking his own surname(Jackson) but only his first name (Felix) as her "married surname", when they get married in 3month's time.
