TemporaryHansel: The funny thing about this stuff is that Western men don't complain about these laws ,rather they defend them when others talk about the absurdity of those laws, it's as if they've all been simpified.
Ironically, it’s mostly African men and other immigrants in the West that question the logic behind those laws.
China recently addressed this exact issue by passing a law that prevents asset splitting by half after divorce. So basically, the whole world sees the problem, except the people being played by it. They do. |

Nah, no chance at all lol. There's a better chance of two elephants passing through the eyes of the tiniest needle than Madrid losing or drawing today. Barca going 7 or 6 points clear in December creates the narrative of a weak Madrid/weak Laliga.
I heard they have so many players out but that won't matter. Even if it's their Castila squad, they'll beat Alaves today. So if you or anyone wanna hate watch, no need. Madrid is winning and it'll be influenced by at least a penalty and very soft calls in their favour. All the 50-50s will go thier way today.
Madrid will win 1:3 or 2nil. They'll sha win! Is Mazi Mbakwee back? |

GrammarNazi1: 9 There are well to do people in this country!
Aren't there?
There are well to do people who built businesses here in Nigeria.
There are even employees who have lucrative side businesses in Nigeria.
Some of them had a headstart because they studied a very lucrative course in university.
Some of them, after studying what Ibime would not endorse, had to pivot to a lucrative field.
I know someone who studied Philosophy in the University of Benin, but before even gaining admission, he had known about computer programming/software development and had started learning it. This is someone who finished secondary school in 2007, and had even started learning software development before he left secondary school.
Sometimes I think about how he got to know about software development before 2007 when information was extremely scarce then.
Now, he would always say he needs to know algorithms if he would be able to work in very big organisations (This is growth and realism, not wishful thinking). This is someone who hates everything Nigeria more than you do, because he hates Tinubu, he hates Atiku, he hates Obi, all of them.
This person I'm talking about has been doing remote jobs since more than 3 years now, and he is doing extremely okay.
Change your mindset, Spy.
Lastly, a lot of people are doing extremely okay in Nigeria. Many of them had to do two times or even three times the effort you put in. Are you in the country or abroad? Are you doing very well for yourself? Are you in support of the current government and their policies?
Maybe we can learn a thing or two from you.

When you look at players like Gnabry, Ralph and now Ferran, it clearly shows that Flick is so good in coaching the attacking phase of games. For me, the best in the world by some distance attacking wise. It's the defensive end that he doesn't balance out which is the difference between success and failure in UCL and WorldCup; the two hardest competitions in football history! No lies... |

COOL10: I'll tell you a better story:
Once upon a time, there lived a jealous, bitter, little boy who thought himself a small god. He loved predicting the downfall of others and was always the loudest in shouting what would go wrong.
Then one day, one of the people he constantly spoke against appeared in his community and started doing great things for everyone. The whole village was impressed, except the bitter, jealous, little boy and some of his bitter, jealous, little friends.
Seeing the praise the man was getting, the boy became enraged. He ran around attacking anyone who dared to be happy about the man's success.
But no matter how loud he shouted or how hard he tried to sabotage, nothing worked. Every scheme he plotted backfired. Every insult he threw made him look smaller, while the man's deeds continued to shine.
By the end, the bitter boy was left exhausted, humiliated, and powerless, still shouting into the wind, while everyone else celebrated the man he tried so hard to bring down.
Case closed. End of Story 😄 Meaningless.
Had a stroke reading the clumsy attempt.
Second fiddle thingy. |

DissTroy: I have always been rational.
I have always insisted comfort is comfort and wealth is relative.
I have always been against entitlement or attacking people because they seem in a better clime or financial place.
I have always pointed out contentment being key. You wouldn't ignore the issue to ALWAYS attack the geolocation of someone outside Nigeria if you were contended with what you have.
What you feel is resentment. It's the same resentment Communists have for those who are (seemingly) on a better economic pedestal.
If you say people who don't reside in Nigeria shouldn't comment about Nigerian politics and should just look on, how come you don't apply the same rules for Roland and one or two other guys here? Simple: It's because your stated opinions align with Roland's and the other one or two so you give them a pass.
Abroad, Nigeria or on Mars, I do not need to daily single people out for maligning because they live outside or are in a seemingly better advantageous socioeconomic clime.
You are no different from the boys in your village who would be passively aggressive towards you this December when you go home for Christmas, counterig when you're suggesting ideas or holding contrary opinions during the Kindred meeting because, "All these Lagos/Abuja/Port Harcourt/Big city men telling us what to do and having an opinion about what goes on this village. You don't live here so you don't have a right to say anything."
It's passive aggression and envy, and we know what it translates to. You sure would avoid those boys and be wary of them around your drinks and food, wouldn't you?
You're not more Nigerian because you reside in Nigeria. That Akwa United or Enugu Ranger player is not more Nigerian than Victor Osimhen or Williams Troost-Ekong because the later reside in Turkey and Saudi Arabia respectively.
Focus on the issues. Attack their opinions if you disagree with what they posit, insult or troll them for their opinions but stop bringing up "all these Abroadians" every time. It reeks of envy.
Imagine being xenophobic towards your own countrymen. Isn't it ironic? I think you're digressing and interjecting some tags, making it seem like they're just attacking the abroadians due to envy or something.
Oasix and Glorious G gets dragged too.
