Before I responded to this, I confirmed from ai and other sources that Dangote get limestone cheap in Nigeria. These guys are just greedy and for the labour wages, I doubt he pay them well. Someone that was bragging the other day that he pays graduates 200k or so.

Now I can say with capitalist economy, we can never have selfless leaders. Even the so called West, people pay through their nose to enjoy those available facilities.

Then transport costs...remember that diesel has been higher than petrol since 2015 at least...much higher. Diesel would also have shot up with the recent increases (that's why government is not doing well by not being more aggresive on railways)

You're right but those are selling cost. What about production cost? You pay labour less wages, you get raw material cheap and locally, and the only thing is the powering of factory of which shouldn't be the reason for high pricing.

The cost is more than the benefit in this country and this act is what many civil servants boost about, many of them are out of the country and still get paid.
