I’m a Nigerian developer, and I’ve been working on an e-commerce platform called Biply.ng.

The idea came from seeing how difficult it can be for small business owners to get a professional online store without spending a lot of money on website development.

So I decided to build a platform where anyone can register for free and create their own online store in about 5 minutes.

One of the features I’m particularly excited about is the AI-powered setup system, which helps users configure their stores without needing technical knowledge.

The platform allows users to create a storefront, add products, customize their store and begin building their online business.

I’m still developing and improving it, and I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from Nigerian business owners, online vendors and anyone with experience using platforms like Shopify.

The idea is simple: not everyone can afford to pay for a website before starting an online business, so I wanted to make it easier for people to get started.

With the platform, users can:

I checked it out for you and noticed the footer look at the image I shared the platform is nice but little bugs just run a bug scan and fix it

Absolutely. I think you’ve highlighted the two sides of the problem — getting discovered and then building enough trust to convert that attention.

That’s actually one of the reasons we built Biply. A business shouldn’t have to depend entirely on Instagram or WhatsApp to explain what they do and convince potential customers.

Out of curiosity, what type of business are you running? I’d be interested to see what your current online presence looks like.

For me, the biggest challenge has been reaching the right customers and building enough trust online. Getting people to discover the business is one thing, but converting that attention into genuine inquiries and customers is another. I believe having a professional website and a strong online presence can make a big difference.
