Fellow Nigerians,

I do honestly need a candid advice and/or possible assistance concerning my NYSC issue.

I was a Batch A 2010 Corp member who served at (http://www.standardinternationlschoolswarri.com/index.php), Warri.

I did about 8-month of service before coming abroad for my Masters (PTDF Best Graduating Student Category).
The scholarship was automatic for me and I did not require NYSC discharge certificate since I didn't write the test.
Both the NYSC and PTDF are Federal Government Schemes and in my case, they overlapped.
So, it was not a deliberate plan to elope from completing my service year but I had to seize the opportunity.

My concern really on getting to Nigeria is:

Do I have to complete the service, start all over again or humbly request for my discharge certificate?

I am currently in England and would like to plan my journey back to Nigeria for my career.

Any candid opinion and/or relevant protocol to follow at the NYSC DHQ would be highly appreciated.
