This is actually the 3rd people I have seen making this same complain about Facebook paga scammer, una dull shaa

Most of the messages were audio and even the text I have them all. As soon as i suspected fowl play, i copied all our chat to my mail. Are you discrediting online transactions? Some of us try to make use of the huge opportunity internet provides.

The codes were sent to me by paga. He said he needed them so as to link my paga account to the POS device before delivery to me. He also said i should change my password before i deposit money, which I did.

Yes, he claimed he was the one who will onboarded my POS and link it to my paga account.

I wander how people easily trust online agent and others with their hard earned money. Someone I don't know from Adam. Simple step, meet any POS agent around your vicinity and ask him/her how they got their POS machine. Sorry for your loss anyway 💔

Thanks! But my concern now is to prevent other Nigerians from becoming victim. Also the role Paga as a company is playing in the whole thing. I sent them a mail with all the audio conversation i had with the guy and no reply. I called the phone number on their customer care from their website no response. From my web search about Paga, i discovered someone opened similar thread on nairaland about Paga 2017. I want them stopped.

The best and sure plug is to contact paga cc on their website.
Ask them questions and show them what transpired. They should be able to tell you if he used all those codes you sent him to access your account and moved the money elsewhere.
From their,they will know the account he moved the money to.

I did not see this your post on time. I was scammed N50000 this morning by the same people.

I have always been careful. I thought Paga is real. I downloaded their app from play store and opened the account on the app. The guy was only chatting with me as customer service rep.

Paga even sent me a mail acknowledging they received my deposit.

Not to his account my paga account. He claim that if i make the deposit they will now be sure that am capable of running POS business. That i can withdraw the money even after onboarding my POS.

Admin help me move this thread to the right section. I need help on how to track this guy. It all started two days back. I saw paga POS promo advert on Facebook with a WhatsApp number. We chatted and the paga agent asked me to download paga app and open account. After opening the the account, he said i should deposit N50000 for onboarding and the activation of my pos in my paga account. I deposited the money and login to my account only to see N75. I sent him a message on WhatsApp but he did not respond. The next thing he deleted all our chat on WhatsApp. However, before he did that i had already saved all our chat including the audio messages to my mail. Please Nigerians help me. I suffered to gather that money so i can get a pos machine. Admin please move this to front page. I need help.
