I registered with phd and the first alphabet is P.

Please guys, I am having difficulties on my Personal statement page, I am a phd applicant and the instruction permits PhD applicant to have 1000 words SOP/PS but the space provided can only take 600 words for Msc applicants. Pls, is anyone experiencing similar thing and and advise concerning this will be appreciated.....
