He is a second striker that is why it is expected of him to shine as lone striker too and not number 10. For Nkunku to play you need solid number 6 and 8 with height behind him to make the team remain offensive and possessive because he is a liability without the ball. Even with the ball he is not a great ball holder in tight space. Jackson is playing ahead of him because of this reason.
