On the front is a 24-Megapixels camera for a sharp and clear selfie.

The Japanese automaker, Toyota announced on Thursday that the 2020 models of the 4Runner, Tundra, Tacoma, and Sequoia will be Android Auto compatible. The company also announced that the 2018 Aygo and the 2019 Yaris made for the European market will also feature Android Auto.

Toyota was among the top automakers to manufacture CarPlay compatible cars. In January 2018, the company announced that the 2019 Avalon will feature CarPlay, which will later be included in the sedans and small SUVs.

Rumors of Toyota agreeing to build Android Auto compatible cars surfaced on Bloomberg in September 2018, after so many years of holding off. The company cited security concern as one of the reasons for holding off for a very long time. Toyota developed its own infotainment system instead based on Automotive Grade Linux, which uses Ford's SmartDeviceLink to help some smartphone apps get connected to on a car's screen, mimicking the main draw of CarPlay and Android Auto.

Meizu Zero smartphone comes in two models. There are 4GB of RAM model tagged with 64GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM model running with 128GB of internal storage. No microSD card slot on this device. This means that the phone storage cannot be expanded which I think is not cool at all. The thing is that the internal storage a bit low, considering the fact that microSD card cannot be used.

He disclosed this on Weibo in response to a post made by Xiaomi C.E.O Lei Jun, asking Black Shark fans to share their expectations and suggestions to the Black Shark team. Wang, in response to the post, disclosed that he saw the new Black Shark 2 gaming phone and it looks ‘very cool’.

The first edition of Black Shark gaming phone was introduced in April 2017 and it is armed with a Snapdragon 855, 8GB of RAM and running on Android 9 Pie. A follow-up model was later launched in October same year with the name “ Black Shark Helo” which hosts 10GB of RAM.

The Redmi boss revealed the information on a post he made on Weibo after a successful meeting he held with his crew on the Xiaomi Shenzhen R& D Institute where they discussed in detail about Redmi’s future brand positioning, marketing strategy, user needs, and flagship product configuration. A recent report from Reuters investigation has unraveled what seems to be a highly sophisticated hacking tool called Karma used by a team of former U.S. government intelligence operatives working for the United Arab Emirates to hack into the iPhones of foreign diplomats, rival foreign leaders, and top government officials.

According to the report, the spy tool which was developed by UAE government and former American intelligent officials in 2016 helped to monitor hundreds of selected targets by simply inputting the target’s phone number or email address into the spy tool. Reuter’s investigation also revealed that the Emir of Qatar and a senior Turkish official to a Nobel Peace laureate human-rights activist in Yemen had falling victim to this security breach.

It was gathered that Karma was used to access the target’s iPhones to obtain photos, emails, text messages, and location details. On whether the Karma spy tool is still in use, former operatives revealed that the security updates to Apple Inc’s iPhone software rendered Karma less effective in 2017.

An interview with Lori Stroud, a former Karma operative who worked at the U.S. National Security Agency, told Reuters of the excitement when Karma was introduced in 2016. “It was like, ‘We have this great new exploit that we just bought. Get us a huge list of targets that have iPhones now,’” she said. “It was like Christmas,” she said.

Meanwhile, UAE government and Apple Inc declined to comment on the issue.

In a bid to tackle fake news being spread through WhatsApp, the company has decided to limit message forwarding to only five contacts at a time to all users globally.

According to a press release sent via email, WhatsApp announced

“Starting today, all users on the latest versions of WhatsApp can now forward to only five chats at once, which will help keep WhatsApp focused on private messaging with close contacts.”

The limit which first started in India comes as a reaction to the 25 persons that were reportedly murdered by mobs in connection with fake WhatsApp messages that was spread through WhatsApp.

It has become a norm for some mischief makers to sit and concoct fake WhatsApp messages or fake prediction of imminent danger, then forwarding them to WhatsApp users with a request to share with “20 persons from your contacts.” These messages most times are generally meant to cause false panic.  

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has assured users that several measures are being put in place curb the spread of fake messages which include more prominent labels for forwarded messages, and the option to only let administrators post messages in a group.

Latest update from Samsung Newsroom shows that the company has launched a new series of mobile processor called Exynos 7 Series 7904.This latest mobile processor comes with an enhanced multimedia support that allows high-end features in mid-range smartphones.

According the update, the latest mobile processor is designed for Indian market and optimized to deliver high-end multimedia capabilities in the mid-range smartphones.

Statement from Rajeev Sethi, Senior Director and Head of Sales and Marketing, Device Solutions states that Exynos 7904 delivers fast octa-core performance required for nimble web browsing and app launching on a smartphone. The cutting-edge technology enables enhanced user experience through excellent network speed and smooth multitasking while consuming less power.

“Samsung is committed to bringing world-class innovative technologies for the consumers. With smartphones driving the digital revolution, Indian market has great potential. The Exynos 7 Series 7904 will enable advanced mobile experiences in a broader range of devices with triple-camera support, powerful performance and connectivity,” said Rajeev Sethi.

Exynos 7904’s image signal processor (ISP) supports single-camera resolution of up to 32-megapixels (MP) and an advanced triple-camera setup for high-resolution imaging and a number of new features. For instance, a third camera in a smartphone can take panoramic pictures with wide angles or add bokeh effects for aesthetic blur in portraits or scenery shots with more ease. The new mobile processor supports up to faster FHD at 120 frames-per-second (fps) or UHD at 30fps of video playback, and up to FHD+ display for vivid and near perfect mobile entertainment.

Built on a 14-nanometer (nm) process, the Exynos 7 Series 7904 is equipped with two Cortex®-A73 cores that run at 1.8-gigahertz (GHz), and six Cortex®-A53 cores at 1.6 GHz. With a powerful Cortex®-A73 as a ‘big-core’ Exynos 7904 delivers fast single-core performance required for nimble web browsing, app launching and many other key operations on a smartphone. The embedded LTE modem supports Cat.12 3-carrier aggregation (CA) for 600-magbits-per-second (Mbps) downlink speed.

The Exynos 7 Series 7904 is currently in mass production.

Nokia was one of the best and trusted mobile phone brands in the world, with so many successful smartphone series released from 2000 to 2012. Nokia N8 Symbian smartphone that was released in 2010 was the first Symbian smartphone to feature 12 Mega Pixel camera (auto focus) with almost 4 million units sold in Q4 2010. Nokia was simply top player in mobile phone market, occupying the top spot in almost every quarter from 2000 to 2010.

I guess their downfall started when they failed recognize that the global smartphone market was moving away from the usual Symbian and Windows support kind of smartphones to Android, and the rest switching to Iphone. Even the popular Lumia smartphones released in 2012, with over 7 million units sold within Q1, Q2, and Q3 was not able to drag spot with the 26 million IPhone and 105 million Android phones that were sold in just Q2 same year. Nokia was really defeated and Microsoft sold the company to HMD in 2016.

Nokia under the new owner, HMD re-strategized and came back to business in 2017. This time, the new management finally adopted Android and launched some Android-powered smartphones. Unfortunately, most didn’t do well in the market, except Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus released in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Recently, Nokia has announced that a new Nokia smartphone will be launched towards the end of January 2019. The name as they called it is Nokia 9 or Nokia 9 PureView. Nokia 9 was actually rumoured to be released in 2018, but it was not released. In early December, blogger Roland Quandt wrote a report at WinFuture claiming that HMD Global German marketing executive Britta Gerbracht cited quality issues as the cause of delays. "So far, the quality of the camera has not yet reached the necessary level, which is why HMD Global [has] so far refrained from a market launch," he wrote.

Design and Display Review
The Nokia 9 will come with a notched display design that features seven holes containing the Penta lens on rear. Instead of the normal metal build that is common with other Nokia smartphones, Nokia 9 has a glass build that enables Qi wireless charging with curved edges.

On the display, the android smartphone will be launched with a 5.9-inch Capacitive QHD PureView display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The fingerprint scanner is on the display, not the rear which makes the smartphone unique.

Camera Review
For me, the major selling point of this upcoming Nokia 9 smartphone is the camera setup. The smartphone will come with five camera setup on the back along with flash and sensors. The front hosts bright 12 Mega Pixels selfie for exceptional selfie shots.

Battery and Storage Review
Recent reports revealed that the Nokia 9 PureView will be armed with a long lasting Li-Po 4,150Mah battery which is quite impressive. Apart from the five cameras setup the phone will come with, another interesting highlight of this upcoming Nokia smartphone is the wireless charging feature.

The Nokia 9 as we learnt will have 6GB and 8GB of RAM options to choose from, with a massive 64GB and 128GB of internal storage capacity respectively. The storage of the smartphone can be expanded up to 256GB with MicroSD Card.

Software Review
The smartphone runs Android OS, v8.0 (Oreo). The Sensors come packed with a series of sensors, like IRIS scanner, waterproof, fingerprint and sensor. The new smartphone makes use of an Octa-core (2.45 GHz, Quad core, Kryo + 1.9 GHz, Quad core, Kryo), Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.

Price Review
No official price has been tagged on the smartphone as at this moment, but the device being an upper mid-range smartphone with some impressive features, the price might be a bit expensive.
