• Develop base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, occupational, and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects.
• Determine clients’ particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments; determining extent of present coverage and investments; ascertaining long-term goals.
• Sales/marketing of the different insurance product & services.
• Develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.
• Complete coverage by delivering policy; planning future follow-up visits and evaluations of needs.
• Planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of first Degree in Insurance or other relevant fields.
• Strong client relationship management and development aptitude.
• Solid interpersonal/presentation skills.
• Proficient in English communication, Prospecting, Analysis skill.
• Must be self-motivated, ready to achieve, hungry to change status and build own network in selling insurance to family, contacts and network.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years related sales/marketing experience.
• Ideal candidates should be of 25 years and above.

The scheme aims at supporting high performing basic six pupils in company’s host communities and the oil-producing states of Nigeria to access post primary education uninterruptedly. The scheme kicked off in 2012 with 28 beneficiaries, and has grown to a total of 172 beneficiaries by 2015.

Prospective Corps Members (PCM) are to note the following for strict compliance:
1. Prospective Corps Members should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register. Such e-mail address and phone numbers must be maintained throughout the service year.
2. Locally trained PCM are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register.
3. For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions will have access to the register on the NYSC portal.
4. Foreign-trained prospective Corps Members should NOTE that ONLY those that graduated from accredited institutions are qualified for mobilization. Any foreign-trained prospective Corps Member who is in doubt of the accreditation status of his/her institution should approach the Federal Ministry of Education for verification.
5. Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:
a. West African School Certificate (WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent or, General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 High School Diploma or its equivalent for those who attended school in the USA, etc.
b. Certificates are not qualified to register.
c. Complete official transcript of the First Degree or HND programme.
d. International Travelling Passport showing the following pages; i. Personal Data. ii. Visa to the country of study. iii. Date of the First departure to the country of study and iv. Date of arrival in Nigeria.
e. Graduates with dual nationalities are required to upload Personal Data Pages of both international passports and present the passports for physical verification at the orientation camp.
f. It is the responsibility of the prospective corps members who studied in non-English speaking countries to get their Certificates and Transcripts translated into English language before uploading. The translated transcripts and certificates should also be presented for physical verification.
g. All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with their professional bodies. Payment receipts are not acceptable.
6. Foreign-trained graduates seeking mobilization for national service should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja, for physical verification of their documents. The exercise will be done at the orientation camps. They are to print their call-up letters online and report to the orientation camps in their states of deployment.Foreign-trained graduates are expected to go to the camps with the original documents they uploaded for verification.
7. Provisional certificates, To Whom It May Concern, on-line print-out, scanned and photocopies of credentials are not acceptable.
8. Foreign-trained graduates who registered for Exemption Certificate shall present all their original academic credentials and international passport for physical verification when they come to collect the certificate at the National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja.

Mr. Nana Poku Kwarteng, father of late dancehall act, Ebony Reigns in an exclusive interview with Zionflex.net revealed why he has been seen in all-white apparels after the passing of his daughter in a ghastly motor accident. He explained that his choice of clothes was as a result of what his custom demands in the event of a death of a family member. He further explained that according to customs he as the father of the deceased is expected to wear white clothes on losing a child for the first time.

His explanation was further backed by a member of the family that Mr. Nana’s dressing wasn’t proof that he belonged to any form of secret society as cited by rumour peddlers but he was just following the customs of the Akan people of Ghana.

In an interview with popular Ghanian TV host, Afia Schwarzenegger, the family threatened to sue whatever media channel or persons spreading false news about any member of the family.

Unknown to many there is a quiet settlement in Canada where Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transgenders (LGBT) are free to express themselves and live peacefully without the prying eyes and the discriminatory stare of the public. This community is simply known as Toronto’s Gay Village and it has been existent since the early 1960’s.

“It’s simply a safe haven to many especially those rejected and abandoned by friends and family due to their sexual preference”, as described by Daniel Lickwoski, a resident of Toronto’s Gay Village.

But in recent years this peaceful settlement has turned hunting ground for serial killers and many have been reported missing over the years with their numbers rising to almost six missing persons. The police authority has been notified of the missing persons and arrest has been made for a certain Bruce McArthur on whose property six dead bodies were discovered.

A small vigil was organised by the locals to remember the lost persons and pray for their safe return if anyone was still alive.

Late dancehall musician Ebony Reigns whose real name is Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng will be laid to rest in Accra on Saturday, 17th March 2018. The date of her burial ceremony was announced by her family at the just concluded one-week ceremony which was organized to celebrate her life and pray for a peaceful afterlife. This event took place at St. Martin De Porres School at Dansoman in Accra and it had in attendance several dignitaries such as several ministers of state and other political figures, ministers of the gospel, and bigwigs in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

Ebony Reigns aged 21, died on the 8th February 2018 alongside two others in a ghastly motor accident while returning from Sunyani where she had gone to visit her mother.

The victims of the accident were Franky Kuri, a close friend of Ebony as well as a soldier going by the name Lieutenant colonel Atsu Vondee. The car in which they traveled with collided heads on with a VIP bus leading to the death of all its occupants except the driver who is still in a critical condition.
