One is organic, the other is farmed. I've noticed this difference more than ten years even with the frozen fish we buy off counters, especially with salmon, mackerel, sardine all . It's even more pronounced with salmon because it affects the inner coloration too. The organic will not just have deep outer coloration, but also deep reddish orange inner colour. The farmed , ' agric ' types will spot very, very light orange colour, like It's over-diluted. The organic brand is far more delicious than the agric. Sometimes you cook Titus and the oiliness is not there and tastes like tilapia, know you're eating the organic brand.
