Pst Esther Martins Advice the Government of Bayelsa State to Apply NO PVC NO Salary method.

According to the Grassroot mobilizer who is an advocate of youths inclusiveness in Government and the covener of Operation show your PVC Door2Door Campaign applauded the countryman Governor Hon Henry Seriake Dickson for what he has done to better Bayelsa state and advised the Governor to Apple the method stated above.

In doing so, Bayelsans will be serious to get their PVCs,

Pastor Esther Martins said she visited the federal INEC office as the President Advocacy for Developmental Change Organization and the response on collection of PVC is very poor, some has registered but don't want to come pick it up and the independent National Electoral Commission is even complaining that why some are not coming to pick it up is because people want INEC to pay them money to get their PVCs which is very bad forgetting that the PVC is there only way of Voting leaders of Choice.

Esther Martins who is the Metropolitan Director PDP Youth Alliance while speaking with journalists in Yenagoa on Sunday, has said Permanent Voters’ Card, PVC, should henceforth be a prerequisite for taking part in various activities in Bayelsa State, including receipt of salaries by civil servants. .

According to her the extreme measure is to curb the ‘I-don’t-care-attitude’ of people of the state towards the collection of their PVCs. .

She added that without presentation of their PVCs, residents of the state should not be allow to participate in socio-economic activities such as payment of salaries and getting admission into schools if he or she is up to 18years and above. .

Pastor Esther lamented that many people in the state are not concerned about getting the PVC, which will make them eligible for enjoying many benefits in the state. .

According to her, “The government should initiate the policy of ‘operation-show-your-PVC’ before you can enter the market to buy or sell and before you can do business or get anything from the government, and before your child can be admitted into schools. .

Even before workers receive their salaries from the government, they must show their PVC. We cannot allow the I-don’t-care-attitude of our people towards the exercise to continue unchecked.”

There is no doubt that, airing movies on TV is a means of film marketing, but film makers concentrate too much on Tv stations in showing their movies.Because they think that is the only means in promoting their films in order to generate revenue.But there are soo many ways in promoting movies.

Ghanaian movie makers are fond off blaming Tv stations for high cost in airing their films.According to them, TV stations are also agents in killing the movie industry because television stations charge too much.

I have problem with them why,it is because movie makers in our part of the country have narrowed themselves as though television is the only means to premier their movies.



There are many ways in a cat.What is use of social media?While Facebook,Youtube ,Twitter, Instagram others are the masters of social media,these are avenue one can content strategy that is in the interest of the audience.



Another is premiere movies on airlines. Currently,‘Keteke' directed by Peter Sedufia has got his movie premiered on six airlines.The question is, how did he get it there?I will say he produced great stuff.Probably some movie makers do not produce great content that may be the reason why they forced to premiere their movies on television stations.



Blogging.Writing creatively about a movie creates a stir in the hearts and minds of the audience .But is rather unfortunate that,this means has being down played by most movie markers because they do not see the need for paying the blogger to publish their movies but this avenue is one of the best way for promoting ones movie.



Pre-Roll Video Adverting: Pre-roll video ads are an incredibly effective tool for stirring up the interest of your target audiences.This means is one of the perfect channel were it gives the viewer a call to action example it gives the viewer the change to visit movies Facebook Page interacting with viewers.

These are some of the ways were Ghanaian film makers can look up to instead of laying their frustrations on television stations for charging them at a high cost.

Miss Bayelsa 2018 Beauty Queen, Fred Fred Boufini has called for justice over the cruelsome murder of Nigerian popular artiste, Zainab Ali-Nielsen, known as Alizee.

The beauty Queen who is a final year law student of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state advised Nigerians facing domestic violence to speak up or contact relevant bodies like FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers) who will pursue their case to a logical conclusion, because nobody is worth dying for.

According to her, marriage is a school of learning, growth and comfort against all odds. It should be respect, enjoyed and not otherwise.

It could be recalled that Alizee and her four-year-old daughter, Petra, were allegedly killed in their Banana Island, Lagos home by her Danish husband, Nielsen.

According to report, the police authority on Sunday issued an update, confirming that a letter has been sent to the Embassy of Denmark over the investigation of Peter Nielsen for alleged case of murder.

Reacting to the story, the beauty Queen told CelebrityNews, 'I am shocked at what some men do in the name of marriage. How can you kill your wife and kid as if you are killing chicken. This is uncalled for, it is against humanity. It is injustice.'

The dark complexion Bayelsa born advised women and children going through domestic violence to speak out. 'The domestic violence that led to the death of Alizee and daughter did not started the day they were killed. It must have lingered to this point where it's resulting to death'. If she had reported, speak out or flee the marriage, maybe she should have been saved'

'Women and children should learn to speak out. Call on FIDA, or other groups who can pursue your case to a logical conclusion. Don't die in shame or your quietness before it's too late'.
