YENAGOA /Hoodlums suspected to be Armed Ex-militants Attack and brutalized Popular Bayelsa Blogger and SA to the Governor of Bayelsa state Mr Saint Mienpamo. According to our Correspondent, the Hoodlums stormed his house in Yenagoa at the early hours of 60:30am on Tuesday morning. He was reportedly beaten and whisked any by the hoodlums to an unknown destination and was later drown away around Okaka area in Yenagoa. Bayelsa State Chapter Passed a Vote of Confidence on
Governor Seriake Dickson. This was made known by the group Coordinator, Hon Solomon David as he explained why the youth wing of the people's Democratic party passed Vote of confidence on the administration of the Restoration Government.

He said his analysis are based on the achievements of the Dickson led administration. He added that the governor deserves commendation.

Hon Solomon David who has been an advocate of good governance and participatory governance right from his university days as Student Union President in the Niger Delta University, further said, Bayelsans can testify the massive transformation taking place, that “We are all living witnesses of the massive infrastructural development Bayelsa State has experienced since the inception of Governor Dickson in office. Hon Solomon stated that his position on passing vote of confidence on the Countryman Governor is based on the prosperity, peace and development the PDP youth Alliance has seen on ground for the number of years he has stayed in office and his developmental stride on a nonstop motion and acceleration basis. “Our group made this move based on the economic blueprint and achievements we have assessed and found being visible on ground. “We have seen the revolution in the various sectors of the State economy, and Bayelsans are enjoying the dividends of democracy more than any administration in the past. “His policies have been objective and focused on issues that concern the welfare of the people, and they have also put their trust and dependency on the economic roadmap of the government. “The economic empowerment Bayelsans have now is monumental and there is that sense of belonging of all segments of the citizenry in the state.

Also first time in the history of the State, the Governor has established the Izonebe Micro Finance Bank, to help farmers, small and medium scale enterprises business men and women to access loan facilities conveniently to grow and expand their businesses. Road networks here and there, the educational sector is unprecedented and he encouraged the Governor for the reform that is going on, that Bayelsans should give the Governor total support, even in the Niger Delta University he has done marvelously well in developing the university. Hon David also added that before the Governor came to power, the university was totally abandoned which led him to putting up numerous structures, including new academic blocks Staffs quarters, ultra modern university Senate building as well as Student hostels, Also before now, only few academic programmes were being accredited, thus, most faculties were in an eminent danger of collapse. Programmes such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, Accountancy and other vital sciences and humanitarian Programmes/ courses were not accredited. The Government of Dickson made it possible for these programmes to be accredited, thus giving the university the rightful image it deserved. So also, what about the almost completed airport. The coordinator also mentioned the Ebeni Bridge and many more projects. Comparatively, if you go to other States Government ministries of various commissioners offices, you will appreciate what Hon Henry Seriake Dickson has done and is still doing for the people of Bayelsa State. Hon Solomon David asked Bayelsans to take a walk to the information house and Education house, it is extra ordinary.
I tell you Governor Dickson is a God sent to our Bayelsa State, so don't judge him based on what you hear, but judge him base on what you see. This is the reason why the PDP Youth Alliance in Bayelsa State, has taken the bold step to preach the gospel of the PDP led government to all nooks and crannies of State. The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Youths Alliance Bayelsa state chapter officially conferred on two big weights in Yenagoa Local Government as Patrons.  The inauguration was done by the Coordinator Hon Solomon David and was supervised by his boss, who is the Bayelsa State PDP chairman, Hon Moses Cleopas, and other party bigwigs.

Members who were inaugurated were Hon Dr. Parkinson Markmanuel, Member representing Yenagoa constituency 1 in the Bayelsa state house of Assembly, and Hon Julius Otele, Commissioner Ministry of Housing and Urban Development Bayelsa state.

Over 3,000 persons were in attendance in the programme including top party big-weights.

The Chairman of the Occasion who is the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Bayelsa state on Political matters in his speech thanked PDP youths Alliance for the fantastic role they have played so far in building confidence in the grassroots for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State.

In their separate response, Hon Parkinson Markmanuel and Hon Julius Otele were overwhelmed with the opportunity given to them to serve as Patrons of this great body that is making waves in Bayelsa state, and they promised to stand by the group. They also thanked the Countryman Governor, Hon Henry Seriake Dickson, his aggressive manner in developing Bayelsa state and as his followers, they will ever stand by him come rain come shine. Patrons reinstated their commitment to serve in any capacity given to them because following the leadership styles of the Governor of Bayelsa state, they said the Epie /Atisa people love him.

As records may have it PDP Youths Alliance has taken center stage in Bayelsa state politics. 

The PDP Party Chairman, Hon Moses Cleopas, passed a vote of confidence to the PDP youths Alliance for their wonderful and excellent works. He pledged his support to the organization and its leader Hon Solomon David, stating that the Youths Alliance is part and parcel of PDP and he has given his approval in anything the body is doing.

The PDP Chairman concluded by encouraging all to join forces with the Youths Alliance to reclaim power at the center and maintain grounds in Bayelsa state.

The coordinator of the body, Hon Solomon David, thanked the newly inaugurated Patrons and call on them to always stand by the body. According to him, PDP Youth Alliance is the youth wing of our great party. It is the pet project of our National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus.
Hon Solomon used the medium to thank the National Coordinator, Dr. Charles Omini, the Group Political Adviser Hon Godsave Alade and everyone who has been making sure the party moves forward.
The coordinator further gave the public synopsis of the body,

That the major aims and objectives are simple;

1) To galvanize our teaming youths to support the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming elections and beyond.

2) To build a strong synergy amongst the youths with the aim of defeating the All Progressive Congress come 2019 and beyond.

3) To sensitize the Nigerian youths against election malpractice and violence.

4) To encourage the youths for more political participation and make sure they register and get their PVCs.

Hon Kate Owoko (member Bayelsa State House of Assembly representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 1)  Strongly Condemns the frivolous act perpetrated by some imported disgruntled elements at Amassoma during the week, to dehumanize and dent the image of our ever performing Governor (Hon Henry Seriake Dickson) Hon Kate Owoko Stated that what happened at Amassoma was a conspiracy by just an Agitated few in a bid to discredit our amiable Governor. She added that those who protested, where not true daughters and sons of Amassoma but where rather imported from neighbouring communities and that it was purely Politically motivated by oppositionist of the present Administration. Hon Kate also urged the good people of Amassoma to go about their lawful routines. She went further to add that what is happening at the Niger Delta University (NDU) is purely an institutional reform and it should not be seen as a personal and individuals issues that should warrant a mob group of persons aimed at destroying the image
and the good legacies of the institution, the host community (Amassoma) and also the Governor.

The law maker further Stated that the Governor has done marvelously well in developing the university. Kate also added that before the Governor came to power, the university was totally abandoned which led him to putting up numerous structures,  including new academic blocks

Is the almost completed airport, that was initially moved from Amassoma to another location, but it was brought back to Amassoma. This goes to show his love for the people of Amassoma and NDU. My good people of Ogboin and Amassoma, I humbly and sincerely plead with you not to be misled by desperate and disgruntled few to destroy the already good reputations of the university God has given to us, and also not to be instigated towards destroying the good image of our amiable Governor of our beloved state.
She further urged the good people of Amassoma to remain calm, and allow the Governor to continue his good works and correct the error in the system for a better and revolutionalized Bayelsa State for posterity sake
