ok. you will know if the outdoor unit doesn't pick out all. check if it pick or making any funny noise.

first on the AC. when the indoor unit indicated that the outdoor unit has pick. check it. if it picked fine without funny noise it might be there is no gas.

The outside unit is installed on a wall outside the first floor, would be abit tricky checking the sounds, I'll try. Thanks

the compressor is the AC. no compressor you are just selling a box. except for a replacement parts that should be the indoor unit.
