I had to go to three different banks on three different days last week. guss what ? I don't understand much from all this but I have always felt the relationship between a man and a woman (the old Adam and Eve) is synonymous to the relationship between God and his son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus came out of God while a woman came out of a man. Jesus submits to God knowing fully well that God doesn't only have his back but also puts him on the same pedestal as himself. More or less like one body being a mirror image of each other.

That's why Paul often refers to the relationship between God and Christ or Christ and the church whenever he's talking about a man and his wife. Mutual respect is what is necessary in every relationship and I think that's what love is. Submission is love and love is submission. If the holy book says submit to your husband, it means to love him and vice versa. After all, love encompasses submission, just as the holy book stated. Love is patient, kind, doesn't disrespect, humble etc.
