[b] Do you have custom recovery in your device your device?
If you dont have a custom recovery installed you will obviously need to make one and then flash it.
You need to have the recovery.img of your device.
Download Carliv Touch Recovery Port Tool (Google it or check the links). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1825722

Extract the files to desktop.
Execute the Carliv Port Tool.
Paste the recovery.img of your device to the required folder.
The port tool will then prepare recovery for your device.
Once recovery is prepared, open SP Flash Tool.
Load the scatter file of your device.
Check the recovery option and then select the recovery prepared by Carliv port tool.
And then flash the recovery.
(read a guide how to flash recovery using sp flash tool for step by step tutorial).
Once recovery is flashed, reboot to the recovery.
Install the ROM zip you have for your device.
Now you should be able to boot into your new android system.

well m suggestion is this ....goto innjoo i1s page and download the ROM and the flashing tools and beginning the process of flashing yo fone
no innjoo device on hands nw with me, would hav sent u a recovery backup file.

I would describe it as freezing on the welcome screen cuz the first time it happened I left it on till the battery died

Secondly it actually enters recovery mode and I have reset it but it does not still work

And also I have tried using the stock rom from innjoo site which also does not work too

I dunno if u have a friend who has maybe u can help me get the backup file tanks

First off i rooted the device then I tried to increase the internal storage as it is very small

So I planned to do this with the help of an android app called 'mt657xx Repartition' and that is where the whole problem started.

The app requieres me to wipe the device after re-allocating the new partition size of my internal storage.

I wiped the device only for it to startup and freeze at the welcome screen, the innjoo sign does not even animate from grey to red its just red and hangs dere

Wat I am thinking is dis if some one can help me with a backup of their own innjoo i1s in recovery mode which is achieved by turning on the phone while only the volume up button is pressed.

But I am open for better sugggestions
