Scalping is for pro traders not for beginners, newbies don’t think you can do this now, or else you are going to regret

TIME works in all methods but it works very well with scalping, understanding where the local support and resistance for the time being is situated. I try to also understand the market volume in the time being....In case of emergencies,like when the market volume unexpectedly shifts from low volatility to high volatility and I find myself in the red,I rely on Time to let me know when to get off or double down on the trade even though it's going against us thus I have been able to snatch profits from deep loss positions....

My method of calculating silver pips is very different from boss Elliotwaveforex but you'll definitely find it much easy as it builds up on babypips foundation of calculating lotsize

The pip value of silver is $50, you can Google it and confirm for yourself

I know that you know how to count pips on jpy pairs right. 0.01 equals 1 pip and 0.50 equals 50 pips, so let's say when usdjpy moves from 155.00 to 156.00, that $1 move up equals 100 pips right.

It's exactly the same thing on silver, wether is priced as 79.00 or 79.000, in the second you ignore the last zero, and when price moves from 79.00 to 79.50 that 50cents move or 0.50 move is equal to 50 pips, and likewise 79 to 80 is 100 pips move. Hope you get the hang of it.

So when you want to calculate your lotsize; you may be familiar with this formula for calculating lotsize on currency pairs;

Lotsize = (risk amount) / (pips value × your stop loss in pips)

So for example you want to risk $100 dollar on a trade and you also want to use 20 pips stoploss; (if it's a buy and your entry is 79 then stoploss will be 78.80 and if it's a sell and your entry is still 79 your stoploss will be 79.20)

Therefore;
Lotsize = $100 / ($50 × 20 pips)
Lotsize = 0.1 lot

Now just go on your mt5 and tap the limit order and set your lotsize to 0.1 lot and then set your stoploss to 20 pips and tell me what dollar value is it showing up, it should definitely be equal to $100.

Pls note I would strongly advise you not to use a stoploss below 50 pips on silver because of it's volatility, I would strongly recommend about 80 to 100 pips because that's what I use.

The value per 0.01 lot size on a standard account is 50cents, as opposed to Gold, which is 1$.

Like if they stated 20% consistency. It means your daily profit must not exceed 20% of the total payout you are requesting. For example, if you have a pay out of $1000. Your daily profit or one single day profit must be less or equals to 20% of $1000=$200.

You see this weekly or monthly target of a thing, I no dey do again, because consistency rules (different among firms) don complicate things - as I fear to say simplify things - for me.

It's either I meet d required consistency rule for d day's closing profit or I lose enough for d day and start recovering (if I did not hit daily drawdown for that day), the next day (or days).

So, as you're leaning toward monthly target, 2% to 3% is just rightly doable. Since it's a low hanging target (fruit).

I want appreciate everyone that is following my journey and also adding and sharing knowledge with me, i appreciate...
Last year didn't end the way i wanted it to bur trust me it was a wonderful year, i experienced major improvement on different areas i focused on..
I recorded improvement in my habit of over trading and opening multiple positions...
I also improved my exit strategy the one i talked about last year...
I'm still far behind in discipline and overzealousness and that's one aspect im focusing this year, i feel im getting very close to attaining sustainable profitability..
But I'm not there yet but 2025 I learnt a whole lot....
I started last year with low psychology and i ended the year on a little higher psychology and confidence....
I experienced ups and downs but overall i learnt alot...
Last year i got funded on various accounts and also lost so many accounts....
But those losses and profitable run helped me to get better and also discover some aspects of this journey where i still need major improvements...
I got funded with dna funded last year 5k account around August and i traded that account untill last week of November before i lost it, made about 6 withdrawals on the account that amounted to over $800
And also on the 10k instant account i did 2 withdrawal that was over $300.
Before i lost both accounts...
I got carried away by my consistency i started feeling invincible and i went against all the rules that got me funded in the first place, and i paid dearly for it....
This aspect of trading isn't talked about enough....
Even winning can make you lose it....
I also got funded on a 25k account and 10k account...

Next paragraph I will give a detailed account of reasons why i lost my accounts

The way it is now, I don’t really have a bias on gold, it’s kinda 50/50 for now, but if a gun is pointed to my head, I’ll be looking to buy, if all the conditions are met, but for now, we will watch and see what the market will show us… lots of traders are already in a buy while others are looking to sell, let’s just watch and see if the market is heavily slanted towards a particular direction then we can pull the trigger with confirmations of course.. and remember no trade is a guaranteed win or loss, the outcome is always random…

A little bit over ambitious, might show early signs of initial gragra, but won't put my money on him

My guy, I put my hope on this guy to do the job

Just too far, price might just be too weak after a long journey to get to his location.

At the end of the day, if any of the bouncers were successful, I would be looking to sell gold and then handover my phone to my landlord's oldest side chick to hold for the next few weeks
