Am guilty of alcohol consumption before sleep.... As a matter of fact, I find it difficult sleeping without it.... It's like waking up not brushing your teeth....

Me since 2020. . Simply because am on monk mode.... Relationship, women for now is my least of problems...

Years ago, I was still in secondary school back then.

I was sleeping on my bed at night when I suddenly felt the urge to wake up like my brain was sending a signal to the rest of my body to wake up instantly or else I would loose consciousness. I didn't wake up immediately, and what happened after still feels like a dream but real. I felt myself leave my body and was floating up, way up into the night sky. I saw other people people floating too, both white and black people, young and old. I tried to say hello to them but they didn't respond nor did they have any expression on their faces.

I floated up past them and woke up immediately. My heart was beating fast and I was sweating.

Since then, whenever I feel that urge to wake up from my sleep at night, I do immediately and adjust my sleeping position.

I noticed this happens when I sleep on my back.

It's been a while I had that experience anyway after many years of having it.

it is called sleep paralysis....

Nice write up, I remember when I went to fix my broken screen, only to come back home and find out that I couldn't make and receive call... My sim can't Access network on the phone..
Once beaten, till today if any of my gadget get faulty, I rather get a new one.
As the op said once you visit this people whatever device you gave them will never be the same again...

Facing alcohol addiction too... The truth is nobody can help you... Is up to you... With all the advice people warn me about alcohol I didn't change... Until i decided on my on intent and volution to stop it.... Which was very hard cause once in a while I do relapse... But I can tell you since last year July I haven't tased it even though I have the urge...

I was at obanikoro bustop, when this lady stop me, I gave her my full attention, after the pleasantly greetings.. she ended up giving me a flyer.... Which advertise job vacancy...note there was no position, or job specialty stated..
At that moment I left squeezing the flyer right in front of her and left without saying a word...

Op,you should sit your daughter down and reason with her.....At least she's still very young and very much likely to catch up......But in case she isn't interested in maths, don't force her...... Just let her choose what's on her mind and go after it ..

still trying to wrap my head around it, how can you be good in physics and you will be struggling in mathematics? All of them involves formula, equations, hypothesis.. and cracking of brain...
I myself was never good in calculation, I struggle with maths.. but I was good at other social subject, like English, government, economics, literature... And Fair better in some science subject, like biology, agric, and geography... I think our brain works differently, some people like cracking their brain, that's why they easily do well in science class,, while we that like to comphrend and understand things or artistic in reasoning are different brain entirely... And there are few who are good in both science and social subject.. but no matter how good you are, you can't be 100% at everything

The last time I drank it, was 2017 or there about... I have no bad memory taking it.. probably because I drink alcohol that are stronger, like rum, gin and vodka... I just know I started drinking bullet and Smirnoff then because of a lady I was dating then... She doesn't like the smell of alcohol. So I experimented with bullet, and this babe never suspect that I drink...

If prison is like this in Nigeria most Nigerian will stop there hustle.... And report themselves to the nearest police station and give a false confession to be convicted...

I don't care if you have good relationship with them... For your sanity sake please don't go back.. I have been in your shoes before. I went back to my old place of work after three years, the feeling was like am stagnant in life. I have to quit after 5month..
Though the job I got later wasn't paying me like my former place... But I feel a inner satisfaction. In the process of working there, I got connected to a bigger job, after just only two months there.
Something you have to hit a low before you go upward...

My childhood, I grew up in a face me and face you house. Then growing up it was fun and sometimes it can be toxic,.

Neighbors compete on frivolous things that doesn't make sense, such as who have the loudest home theater, who send there kids to the most expensive school. Who Cook the best pot of soup. Etc . But it was fun though the advantages out weigh the disadvantages . Which is you can never get bored in a face me and face you environment. And 80percent of the time you need help, you will get it...
In retrospect I can't go back staying in that kind of environment... Because am a very private person, my personality has changed from that adventures upbringing...
Where am staying now if you are been robbed or in danger no body will send you.... Every body they mind there business. . That's the only thing I miss about me growing up..
