Yampotatocarrot: Abeg, is Obasa's crisis in anyway linked to the closure of all the Bokku stores? Abeg, make them leave Bokku alone o, it has provided jobs for a lot of people
On a side note, Obasa not being aware of his planned removal says a lot... Was his phone and that of all his aides switched off that no legislator could hint him of what was about to be done... It sounds awkward actually
Also, I don't believe such action would have been taken without Abuja being aware of it...some of the legislators that participated in the removal must have called Abuja to get firsthand information on whether that is the directive from above or not He is gone forever. |

Never knew his closest friend in Northwest is fighting him already I mean Wammako of Sokoto state ..
Then he’s loosing all already…. Na. Masari he dey hope on to align the north?
Hia attack on elrufai was the beginning of his down fall in North. Am from southern kaduna and I can guarantee that Tinubu won’t be getting any vote from here .. if he wan dance anyhow .. e means nothing
Kano is already locked out .. now kastina and sokoto . With kebbi and zamfara .. going PDP already
Don’t know how Tinubu wan do this . .. in north central.. but I know east and west of Arewa are so so out of reach .. plus his rigging and billion dollars ..
We can’t afford to keep Tinubu for another 4 years in office
Walahi .is haram to Arewa and every sane Nigerian
Southern Nigeria is ready East I believe is ready
Let the west carry their cross it they feel so..
No sentiment
The tribalism and foolishness of this regime is nauseating Dey deceive yaself in your bad belle, go bring the candidate that will defeat Tinubu in 2027. Even u opening mouth purportedly will not even vote in 2027, one state in Nigeria your ignorantly minded candidate sponsored clandestine by APC & Tinubu will not win. |
Politics › Re: Northern Ministers Get Marching Orders To Defend President As Opposition Grows by blacknp(m): 11:53am On Feb 09, 2025 |
AMINDA: Isn't it obvious that they got marching orders to do so? The rapid interviews by Matawale, Tuggar, Uba Sani, Bwala, et al following Elrufai's comments were not coincidental. But are their messages really resonating with the North? I don't think so.
The Presidency should have a feel of what to expect in 2027 using the tax bill as an example. Did any of these northern politicians come out to speak in support of it? Even Barau Jibrin had to backtrack when he saw the backlash that followed his attempt at doing so. Elrufai would have been at the forefront speaking in support of it and helping to allay fears.
Tinubu will struggle to find respectable vocal politicians of Northern extraction that can sell his presidency in 2027, and for good reason. Not with the shameful treatment of his most vocal Northern supporter in 2023, Elrufai. It will turn out to become his single most strategic mistake. Indeed u people in the north like odin23 will vote for Atiku in 2027, Tinubu will struggle to find money to give the hungry Almijiris for their suffrage. |

Abdulsomad7: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is embroiled in a fresh crisis, with Senator Samuel Anyanwu, the party's National Secretary, at the center of the storm. But what's really behind the plot to oust him?
According to sources close to the party, Anyanwu's commitment to upholding the rule of law and due process has made him a target for some party leaders. But that's not all - his relationship with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, is also said to be a factor.

Politics › Re: Obsession With Creating Economically Unviable States Is A Recipe For Disaster by blacknp(m): 11:26am On Feb 09, 2025 |
malali: Nigeria, a country already struggling with over 36 states that can barely sustain themselves, is on a reckless mission to carve out even more states. Instead of fostering economic growth, the Nigerian government seems hellbent on creating a bloated bureaucracy that drains resources, increases dependency on federal allocations, and does absolutely nothing to drive industrialization or self-sufficiency.
Nigeria’s “Poverty States”
Many existing Nigerian states do not generate enough revenue to pay salaries or provide infrastructure. Examples include: • Bauchi State: Generates ₦14 billion annually but needs over ₦100 billion to function. • Ebonyi State: Generates ₦10 billion but survives on federal handouts. • Zamfara State: Riddled with insecurity and barely self-sustaining.
Yet, instead of merging weak states into stronger economic regions, politicians keep agitating for even smaller, weaker territories.
Nigeria needs fewer, stronger states, not more glorified LGAs disguised as federating units. More states = more failure unless economic viability is put first.

- My namesake should also look into the humanitarian crisis in Nigeria, especially the systematic extermination of Ndi-Igbo by the fraudulent Nigeria state.
- The genocide committed on Biafrans by Nigerian military should be revisited. Isee! What Nonsense are you yapping, on one hand Oyibos should leave us alone, on the other hand they should come and look 👀 into an imaginary extermination of one wailing tribe in Nigeria Africa? |
