Ofcourse the judgement of the court of appeal yesterday was about the budget. The status of the defected lawmakers was not a subject of determination. Nullification of the budget was based on the fact that Fubara withdrew his case earlier at the federal high court as a result of the peace agreement and cannot appeal it. But the judgement itself is an academic exercise since the 2024 fiscal year would have ended by the time supreme court concludes it.

Ok the court has stated that the people that passed the budget for Fubara are not the legitimate persons, so can you please educate us from your wisdom who the legitimate persons are?

Since the court has ruled that the passage of the budget is unconstitutional, null & void ab initio.
