The conclusion of the tour leaves Swift at a crossroads. This Eras Tour will be the yardstick against which the rest of her career will be measured - and her next move will be watched closely by fans and critics alike. So what options does she have? "Taylor is a very future-minded thinker, so I imagine she has the next few years already completely planned out." says Bryan West, a dedicated Taylor Swift reporter for USA Today and The Tennessean, who has seen the Eras tour 89 times. Noting Swift's tendency to dovetail her projects, he thinks there will be some sort of "news-making" announcement at her final show. Most likely, this will be the reveal of Reputation (Taylor's Version) - the latest instalment of her re-recorded album series, complete with bonus tracks from the vault. That said, fans have been anticipating that announcement all year and the album is yet to materialise, despite numerous, tantalising hints it's on its way. West has some other theories, too. "We've seen film crews at many of the gigs, so I'd not be shocked if she's been shooting a documentary this entire time. "And in her new book, she said, 'See you next era', so there have been reports that she's working on new music."

Fans across the world have traded friendship bracelets and dressed as their favourite Taylor "Era" while attending the concerts But the concerts were about more than the music. Fans swapped friendship bracelets and made lifelong friends with strangers. Outside the stadiums, ticketless Swifties gathered in car parks to sing along. At one show in Munich, 40,000 people congregated on a nearby hill just to catch a glimpse of the show, almost outnumbering the fans inside the city's former Olympic Stadium. For many, the chance to hear these songs live for the first time was overwhelming. "I did a lot more weeping than I expected," says Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry, who first saw the tour in Santa Clara last year. "I wept at the start, just because it was exciting. Obviously I wept during [epic break-up ballad] All Too Well. Then I cried in The Archer. Don't know why." Online, the faithful watched nightly livestreams and downloaded a free, fan-run app - SwiftAlert - that allowed them to speculate on the outfits Swift might wear, and the surprise songs she might play in her nightly acoustic set. Those at the top of the leaderboard would win prizes. There's an unparalleled sense of community around the gigs. When I took my daughter to one of the Wembley Stadium gigs in June, taller people moved back to give her a better view - something I've rarely seen in years of concert-going. For other families, the Eras Tour has even brought them closer together. Michelle, from Seattle, Washington, is attending one of the final concerts in Vancouver with her daughter this weekend, and says the anticipation has helped them stay in touch. "I got the tickets almost 13 months ago, and even though she doesn't live at home full time, I doubt even a week has gone by where we've not had a fun conversation about Taylor, and spoke about looking forward to the show, and what our plans for the weekend may entail," she says

The Eras Tour has broken box office records, and been seen by 10.1 million fans "I used to think one day we'd tell the story of us / How we met and the sparks flew instantly / And people would say, 'They're the lucky ones'." This weekend will be a bittersweet goodbye for Taylor Swift and her fans. When she plays the final notes of Karma in Vancouver on Sunday night, the Eras Tour will be over, forever. First announced in November 2022, it's been even bigger than Swift could have wildest-dreamed - with 149 shows in 53 cities seen by 10.1 million fans. Along the way, it hoovered up $2bn in ticket sales, stimulated local economies and triggered seismic events. Swift has called it "the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened" in her life. Writing in her recently-published tour book, Swift said the 45-song, career-spanning setlist was inspired by the decision to re-record her first six albums, which made her fall "back in love" with her past work. She went on to play concerts in "the pouring rain, in the blazing heat, in the thickest of humidity, in the wildest of winds and in the bitter cold," she wrote, even when she was "sick or exhausted or injured," or working through a "broken heart". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckg1r0v838vo

Dbegining:Another way to get massive fx into ones country is by its citizens to make massive investment into foreign nations...... With this and a favourable capital flight percentage from the host country...a huge sum of FX will b imported into the country by the private sector ..that is where the first world countries have huge advantage nicer others in a stable currency.... For us,we have diaspora remittance of over 60billion yearly...nd alot of Nigeria company operating abroad, but they are not sending fx back home cuz the of uncertainty.... |

U people are just paned because of the resilience of the igbos.... Now take this for example. My ex gf Ada, who got married back in 2012... Decided to make a relocation to a new city with her husband, they chose uyo, a city non if them have any history of ever visiting.. They rented a flat as a new couple, sh has a car bought for her at her wedding by her family, they guy is a trader, sh works with fedelity bank.... While there she made friends , infact best friend with another fidelity bank staff but akwa -ibomite... Also a new couple... Also living in a flat ... As time flies, rents for a 2bedroom tripled... It was eating deep into sh and her husband's finance...sh discuss this with her husband... And they decided to get a land and build their own house in order to stop payment rof rent .. Sh discussed this idea with her friend who also works with her and in same grade level at work... That one waved it aside and saw it as too big a project with his small salary... Ada went ahead and got a loan from the bank... The guy forbade loan and a burden in salary, Ada ND her husband moved to a self contained house with their child and lived there for straight 4years to reduce rent whilst building their own house... They packed into it uncompleted, but just with burglary and doors, no plastering, no fence, just German floor, bathroom ND toilet ND kitchen don't have door, dey used curtain.... Fast forward to 5years later. The house is a massive classic house... ND now the fmr house rent have tripled again from it's once tripled cost before ... Do u know that Ada was shocked to see the akaw-ibom guy join argument with people in the bank circle to criticize igbos of trying to dominate them ND buying up all the lands ND building houses everywhere like it's their state... He is still in resent ND having a very very hard time with rent moving from about 250k to 700k.... Ada and her husband dnt talk about rent anymore... They are landlords in uyo... And they are hated for making a wise cost saving decision.. U lots should continue to criticize igbos instead of getting the right things done... All the academic doctors I know at Unizik that are Yoruba are still in rented apartment, they say here is not our land so we can't build houses here.... They earn about the uppermost in the university, yet they refuse to buy land Wich was selling then at like 500k per plot.... Go to UI, go to ife, go to every southwest big university community, u will realize the igbos high earning academia all live in their own houses... They bought lands ND built houses to run from huge rents... They believe more that everywhere in this countries territory is Nigeria... But u lots see only ur southwest location as Nigeria... Abeg make Una park!!!!! Timid squad!!! |
gidgiddy:This one deserves to die.. ND not fit to lead a nation..... See what a grown adult of national pubic figure is saying about a tribe.... Okay since u killed igbos in their hundred of thousands ND over 5p years ago... Are u now developed, more educated ..? This one deserves to die, no now don't blame the coup plotters anymore |
maestroferddi:Thank God there is at least one reasonable person on Nairaland..... Release him ND stop bullying him... Let him have his days in court with u... U want to lock him den destroy all his evidence... Mr big lawyer.. we have now seen the corupt ways u win ur cases.... |
Thundafireseun:Defend himself from prison...? Tell ur God are to tell his stooges to release him... Dele is fearless ND has his proof... Next they will ransack his office to destroy all his proves.... Don't get carried away because age is a big man.. give dele level playing field to get a day in court . Whatever he like let him write, I still maintain, he is harrasing dele |
phineas:Then he is a good man....he should refrain from bully.. |
Where did he get 10 million pounds from... Just where.... Even the most successful lawyers in the UK do not personally own 10 million pounds |
They want to scatter this very beautiful serene environment with trailers ..... If u ever visited the island... Aswear u go bow |
Everytime it's Jonathan... Their attraction is cuz he has only one term. Left |
Alakoriomo:What is the title of the thread...? |
adioolayi:Present ur fact to the police DPO...? U just open mouth was aaass ND say what u like... He didn't kill anyone or run from his home . He honoured all police invite... Release him on bail ND allow him his day in court with his adequate preparation..... SC ND afe are just arm wrestling him for nothing... Most southwest big lawyer's are majorly aided by bribery...... All of us know dt one... But we no get prove... Only very few use their talent to get goog judgement for their clients |
Yes... But only those 38 to 43 years old ladies.... Their time done pass |
Ur are not in the judiciary...... Almost all big cases are as a result of bribery.... I know this cuz of my brother who is a business manager at first bank.... During cashless, he frequently gets accosted by numerous junior lawyer's on behalf of their bosses, the senior lawyer for cash.... Now u will think it's usual, but alas it's not, they want cash in millions, ND will never want to do transfers... I asked him what concerned lawyer's and cash in millions... He just laff, ND said it's for judiciary bribery of the justices ND judges... It must b in cash... I mean he handles more than 70 demands for huge cash by these so called brilliant lawyer's just in a short periods of 4 months cashless.... If u know, u know! |
EmperorCaesar:It is a tinubu section.. that is where he is headed to... Remitta comes to mind... That is a third party which has been getting 1% of the nations revenue since about 9years now.... If u got that do u still need to steal govt money...? Tinubu is connected to remitta and aplha betta |
