The Inteeceptor amour carrier you mentioned earlier is provided to all personnel of the army on deployment however only forward operation soldiers are guaranteed to receive the high grade front , back and side plates , otherwise all other personnel (usually senior officers) who operate inside secure rear stations have the full vest which they nearly never wear. It would stop small arms fire protect from fragmentation grenades and 7.62 bullets at over 400m.

Please if you don't know hold your peace , because in Nigeria we have forward soldier who don't all have ceramic plated vests , poor guns which have exceeded their barel life being issued 30 rounds - 60 rounds of ammunition. We would never compare not even slightly. Even among other African forces I can confirm nigeria is among the illest equipped
The same worthless CNN never told you how their treacherous US refused selling weapons to Nigeria cool

Politics is a funny business.

Has it occurred to anyone that the misspoke or 'mistake' by Fashola in the choice of word is a deliberate mistake to highlight Bhuari as an old man.

Fashola and the young intelligent group in APC are not happy about Bhuari choice as Presidential candidate but cannot directly voice it out so they will have to say things that will make people think critically about Bhuari, and they are right. Because both Fashola and Jimi Agbaje are roughly about the same age, anyone under 60years old is definitely not old in this present time.
I agree with you

I believe Fashola is indirectly warning SW voters about the wrong choice made by presenting Buhari

Finally

Some SW leaders are waking up

What if Fashola has been looking for a way to voice this out without offending anyone!

I think there is a message embedded in Fashola's message.

Good, the Army r repelling.

But why always "repelling"?

The best form of defense to this evil insurgents is "attack" them

The issue of a lack of capable intelligence and spy networking i.e DSS, NIA is virtually dead in Nigeria.

The question of a rag-tag illiterate militia group snatching territory from the Nigerian state is actually an Impeachable offense on the office of the C-In-C

When Chad attacked the North-East of Nigeria in an attempt to annex our land and territory, a Commanding officer named General Buhari, not only chased the Chadian forces out, He followed them into Chad, and headed to see the Chadian Head of State.

BokoHaram, is a political tool and nothing else. A relative of mine in the Army, has sworn that if the Head of State wanted BokoHaram gone in 2 weeks, they have the capacity to do it.

The mutiny cases by Soldiers on the front line is something that emphasizes that point.

A change of Commander In Chief is what will end this Nonsense.

There are arms sellers who they can sell oil at $10 a barrel just to buy arms

What happened to Oil production during Obj's time? Was it not Obj that paid off huge debts and left $67Billion in the reserve from the same oil sales? Lagos econonmy is beyond oil industries and commerce drive the Lagos economy, The largest chunk of Lagos revenue is internally sourced.

I am sure he will be the first to scream Genocide if Buhari is elected and he takes on the militant and their supporters with full military might. If Buhari apply the Odi treatment, all the people talking tough now, will change tone and scream, genocide against defenseless civilians.

JImi Agbaje just lost my vote with this stupid statement. So he intends to drag lagos back to the league of states depending solely on FG handouts when every wise person is struggling hard to wean itself off the oil curse.

Has the dwinding oil price affected Lagos in any way? It shows that Fashola a man of vision saw what JImi is yet to see years ago. Jimi represents the past we cant afford to entrust our future to someone who intends to depend on the handouts from the Federal Government to lead Lagos. It is too dangerous.
Lagos economy is still tied to oil

It is when the 3 levels of government pay salaries that trade, commerce and importation in Lagos booms

Until Lagos develops an export based industrial economy, you guys are still at the mercy of ND oil.

Therefore Agbaje knows that Lagos is yet to be independent of ND oil
