Guy ! I agree with you, Its just a trend and a cycle that the Nigerian music scene has to go through as it grows to maturity. The US music scene went through the same thing with lots of not-so-talented artists with glitzy videos, Where dem dey now?

Nigeria has a lot of real talents who have not made it to the limelight yet we are bombarded by videos of artist who are just in the music thing for a ride literally, These artists will not stand the test of time tho like you rightly noted.

The more I listen to the song Everybody Know, the more I like it.

I like when he said "Some people smile at your front give you a knock at your back, you just smile like a fool in the side oh! what a blow to your personality"

I also like "Naija is the place that I come from if you wanna try make you come and fill form", That is a classic line, Keeno is a lyrycist no doubt.

I agree "My Mama" is a timeless song with a great video and the delivery is sweet. I do however like Everybody Know more as its a club jam and the thing im dey yan make too much sense.

I can't wait to get my hands on his album as it seems like one of those exceptionally good albums with lots of hit tracks.

Been a fan of Keeno for sometime. He has certainly come of age. My Mama is still my favourite because of the concept.

Frank Dnero is very good. Great album. Another huge talent out of the Garden City and making waves. 2008/09 will see PH erupt musically.

Anyone know where I can get a copy of Keeno's new album (THE REBIRTH). I went to his album launch in PH 2 weeks ago, and guess what Nairalanders "HE IS A CLASS ABOVE THE REST".
