Today’s event was evolutionary, not revolutionary.

And maybe that’s okay for a trillion-dollar company that has hordes of fans awaiting every single new product. But anyone who was waiting for a surprise announcement at the end came away disappointed.

From my seat in the back of the theater, this event was all about “more-more-more,” meaning faster processors, more storage, better cameras.

Reading between the lines, I also heard Apple execs telling us not to take these features for granted. Not to shrug off the technological achievements that we’re all carrying around in our pockets.

It’s definitely easy to start taking this tech for granted, but Apple wants you to remember what you’re paying for — or, to put a finer point on it, WHY you’re paying so much.
iPhone XS and XS Max pre-orders start Sept. 14 and ship on Sept. 21.
iPhone XR will be available for pre-order on Oct. 19 and ship on Oct. 26.
iOS 12 will be released on Sept. 17.
HomePod and tvOS software updates also come out Sept. 17.
macOS Mojave will come out on Sept. 24.

TETERBORO, N.J.—A plane carrying musician Post Malone has landed safely at a New York airport after blowing two tires during takeoff.

Video streamed online by CBS New York showed the troubled Gulfstream IV touching down at New York Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, about 112 kilometres north of New York City.

It’s no secret that 2 Chainz loves the “most expensivest shit,” but today he’s brought it to a whole new level. Apparently no longer content to try out $3 million VR for a TV show, Tity Boi has brought the luxury to his personal life in the form of a white tiger.The occasion for the jungle cat is 2 Chainz’ wedding, where him and Kesha Ward will be united through sickness and health. The wedding ceremony will consist of the couple and only 75 guests, including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and will take place at the famed Gianni Versace Mansion in Miami (which is appropriate, considering 2 Chainz proposed to Ward while they were both wearing Versace on the red carpet of the MET Gala). No details about the ceremony are available other than a short video of the tiger being carted into 2 Chainz’ property by a large group of people. The cage will apparently be switched out for a cleaner more luxe looking one.

Former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, a Ghanaian has died.

The Kofi Annan Foundation said the former UN boss, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for humanitarian work, died on Saturday aged 80.

50 Cent nor Tekashi 6ix9ine weren't harmed.
Tekashi 6ix9ine's at the height of his career right now. The rapper recently landed his first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "FEFE" which has since been included on the tracklist for Nicki Minaj's Queen album on streaming services. However, that's not the only major collaboration he has in the works. Last night, the rapper was shooting a music video with 50 Cent in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, it seems as if the video shoot was targeted by gunfire.

According to TMZ, shots were fired in the middle of Tekashi 6ix9ine and 50 Cent's video shoot last night. Witnesses claim the shots were fired from white Porsche with New Jersey license plate. The gun unloaded atleast 11 shots while Fif and 6ix9ine were in Brooklyn shooting their music video around 10:30 p.m. The shell casings indicate that the shooter possibly used a 9mm semi-automatic weapon. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Both 6ix9ine and Fif were shooting their music video at the time of the shooting. Both Casanova and Uncle Murda were also on set. According to sources close to 6ix9ine, they don't believe that he or any of the rappers were targets in the shooting. However, the police aren't so sure about that. 6ix9ine's been investigated for shootings that occurred in the past with people he was beefing with including Chief Keef and Casanova.

Police are looking through the security footage for any leads but as of now, there has yet to be anyone arrested.

A video of an American man speaking about Nigeria is currently trending on social media.



In the video, a white man seen being interviewed by a Nigerian journalist made some remarks about Nigeria. Though the things the man said are quite bitter to swallow, a lot of Nigerians have pointed out that his words are not far from the truth.



He said:

Everything that I've ever heard about Nigeria... If you don't open your pocket and pay off everyone, from the lowest to the highest, you don't get anything done.

And I've read Nigerian artists, I mean writers, and they all seem to say that.

Also, now in Nigeria, if you are an intelligent Nigerian, you need to get out of that country if you want to get ahead. Because the powers that be there want to hold everybody down, especially women and especially intelligent people.
