It means he's still good enough, so it wouldn't be wise to shell out money now for a bench warming DM who's not world class. We can still squeeze one good season out of Busquets.

Bernardo is very much needed here, our midfield lacks creativity.. it's why we mostly pinged the ball to dembele to create chances, which made our play very predictable.
Plus Bernardo could also be useful on the right cuz even if dembulance signs, he's not certain to be fit for much of next season.

We don't need a busquets replacement now, xavi still trusts busquets and it will be unwise to panic-buy now when there are no world class dms available in the market. Busquets is still good enough to give us something next season, and kessie can cover for him.

I think the fear about him from our fanbase is that he's short and might backfire like lenglet's sevilla signing, But he's really good aerially , tackles really well and is a good passer, Downsides to me are his anger and being bullied by really tall forwards but he can hold his own in the air
Watch our last game against Sevilla again, He mostly shut off Auba and limited ferran a little plus he's not a master in the RB role

I watched all his games with France and he was mostly trash

de ligt is Magure 2.0. However, Kounde is good in back 3, can't really say in back two in epl.

funny things is, kounde never played as part of a back 3 three for Sevilla, he was always in a back 2 flanked by Jesus navas in right back. Sevilla uses the 4 3 3 formation.
