Believe me that's what it is. However anybody decides to look at it they both helped each other, Dbanj brought in the resources for them to start & would have been responsible for the initial motivation that Jazzy needed before the money started coming in.

Is Don Jazzy possibly the turncoat traitor and not Dr. Sid? Hold on yeah before you allow your emotion throw tantrums without consent. We have all read differing views on D'banj's truth on the knife that split Mo'Hits crew, majority of your sentiments glaringly appear to have sprung from your enjoyment of Dorobucci and Oliver Twist, an opinion that is often known to be in conflict with constructive objectivism. Nonetheless, it is nothing of your own conscious doing though, I mean you are preoccupied with so much more important personal responsibilities, where is the discipline in allowing D'banj's and Don Jazzy's personal issue as a distraction, when it is ‘stressless’ to just chill and ease to conclusions. Besides there is an ass like me who enjoys picking into other people's garbage, sifting through their dirt and usually eager to boast about the rots he finds without shame, ugh yuck!

Anyway, I'm neither a friend of Banj nor Jazzy at least not on a personal level but I cannot deny I haven’t bubbled Dorobucci so many times and rocked Oliver Twist as much too, of course! usually with a hot chic lol. So back to D'banj's ‘Truth’, it is self-exonerating that he never particularly admits to any wrong doing in the falling apart of the Mo'Hits crew aside that he said he was not around enough to have observed irregularities as the boss and put them in order ('I was not always on ground, I think that was my mistake, I wasn’t sensitive enough to have noticed…’ –excerpt from The Truth with Olisa Adibua) , let's be sincere, who would have admitted to any wrong doing? I mean it was his side of the story, right? Let's quickly look at D'Banj in perspective; he is an extrovert with huge social tendencies, a trait that might make it difficult to be consistently thorough, I believe he has worked very hard to become very disciplined over the years, but you know what they say about an undying attitude, how it peeps out every once in a while in spite of how much you guard it, which shows sometimes in his once a while nonchalant manner of dressing. And you don’t have to like him to notice he's a smart businessman too, the fact that he calls himself an entertainer not a musician attests to that, in other words, this reduces the level of musical expectations from him and thus reduces criticism. So there was no way D'banj could have been absolved or minimally at fault, but his errors could never have been to the detriment of Mo'Hits records. He is a businessman, he adores success, and he knew the alliance has been the compass navigating him in that direction, there was no way he was going to jeopardise that.

Here's what really happened , the reality is, Don Jazzy has got a high personal vanity level, his tendency to be the stand alone boss has been nothing but a show off, it is obvious from his stage characteristics, for example the prefix of his stage name is 'Don' which is a title signifying the head, like a head tutor of a college, the Head Professor, and it is also a title of respect for the most powerful leader of the Italian Mafia organisation and the word is derived from "donno" a Latin word that means "lord". Don Jazzy also uses a staff (commonly known as walking stick) in the mainstream which is a symbol of supremacy, these evidences point to his inclination to be the "Don", the "Boss", and you know in the real world there's always only one Captain in a ship, there are never two, so I'm here thinking, how could Mo'Hits be said to have had equal partners; two captains? Hmmm

Anyway, it appeared D'Banj saw through it in the beginning, he acted as a businessman as he calls himself, he chose objective over vanity by portraying Jazzy as the boss, remember 'Tongolo' the video and their successive appearances after that, with that the relationship was splendid, hey! It was Don Jazzy's desire, to be the boss even though he might not publicly attest to it. And on the other hand they were getting successful, and D'banj the businessmen was happy too, you know how profits is the big smile of a businessman yeah.

Now, D'banj is not just a businessman, he is an entertainer, a charmer, and there comes the fame (supposedly the most addictive drug in the world) coupled with his trait, the social tendencies, sadly they didn't come alone, they brought with them various names and titles in different languages; Skibanj, Wa Si Na Nwata Buru Ogaranya 1, Mensah, Capella etc. There were so much responsibilities to deal with, D'banj couldn't keep up with just being a businessman, putting the objective over the vanity, the energy to portray Jazzy as the Boss publicly waned, he had a responsibility of being a superstar, he owed it to his career and to the Mo'Hits crew.

But, there's always a residue to this sort of development, with D'banj having so much names, titles and popularity, it seemed like he didn't just wane in his responsibility of portraying Jazzy as the boss, he also unintentionally took the weight with him leaving Don Jazzy with just the title and a walking stick. Now think about it, how would you have felt if you were Jazzy? You are not thinking in 'we' terms anymore, you're telling yourself, you produced most of his hits, the fact that he references your name in the hits doesn't mean sh*t as far as he doesn't call you the boss publicly as he used to, now you're just Don Jazzy with the stick. And the fact that he now behaves like he's the reason you guys are breathing (probably unknown to him) hurts your gut, you are like frack! I made this guy, he is not even a musician he is just an ordinary an entertainer. I can break up with him, sign some of these young talented guys, make them big and still be their boss. So that is it, the beginning of Mo'Hits breakup. But there was no way Don Jazzy was going to come out in the open and throw the punch, he already has a history of breakup with the JJC crew, so he needed someone to take the blame, and that is where Dr. Sid comes in, as a fall guy, he knew him well enough to understand that all he needed to do was to plant the 'your star is too much [sic] its over shadowing...' into his head and the poor guy would take the bait, which he expectedly did.

Remember the movie; The Godfather trilogy? When Sollozzo ‘The Turk’ approached Don Corleone to propose a partnership in a drug deal proclaiming the backing of the rival Tattaglia family, but then the Don respectfully refused the proposition, which resulted to an attack on the Don's life by Sollozzo. So, the Don's family had to take out Sollozzo and went on a full scale war with the Tattaglia family with so many lives lost. It was not until later they realised it was Don Barzini another rival Don who was behind the drug deal all along but used Don Tattaglia as a front. In this context, Dr. Sid is Don Tattaglia and Don Jazzy is Don Barzini. I am not saying D'banj is Don Corleone and I have not said they are a mafia.
