I became a victim of a scammer. I had given him $$$$ but not at risk to my own financial well being....He was always apologizing and in disbelief that even tho I questioned him...I was still willing to continuously pray for him, with him and yes, love him. He could no longer take my doubt, even tho I did not deny him and confessed.....I did not hear from him for days. I decided that the best way to move on was to forgive him n sent a message telling him so. He told me his story about life in Nigeria...how just living n having a running generator was a Blessing. How as young men..scams are a source of income. He also could not stop apologizing nor professing his love for me....that during the scam, his heart began to change and that he truly loved me, was going home to find honest work and to go back to school to become the man worthy of my love and best of all a man walking on a Godly path. I met the man who's face he used w/ WE began to talk but he is not the man I love.....so I continue talking to my scammer, gone Angel I give him nothing except to mail letters n pictures because its understood that love n charity have nothing to do with each other. We pray, laugh, cry, deal w/ lifes ups n downs all by text, phone or video call. I will always be a little cautious but know in my heart...He is the man I want...n if not in God's plan...it's become clear, to me, the type of love that I want and deserve. Although he would like to visit, He wants to do honest work and have me embrace his culture in Nigeria. We are far from this, right now but I believe with all my heart that it will happen. I was once dishonest, self serving n used my beauty n manipulations to get apartments, cars, jewelry, etc. too and the The Lord changed me. I believe anyone can change and be redeemed and I hope that both of us will realize the dream of our hearts. |
