I think you should first nurture your business till it doesn't need your full time presence (a.k.a when you have CAPABLE a apprentice) before you continue your job hunting, especially since you're gradually establishing a client base.
But if the tailoring contracts aren't regular, you could opt for a 9 - 5 that doesn't steal your weekends.
You might have to settle for a less comfortable house (since that's what your pocket is dictating)
I think you should keep a diary cuz you might look back at the decisions you'll make and be grateful you did.

Shalom
Thank you

More money, more problems.

I think what you need is some form of regular excitement.
Truth is you can survive well outside your parents house. Just be modest with your spending at the start.
Since your business is still growing, take your time to nurture it properly. You may not have access to the kind of market Lagos provides you if you migrate else where.

Move into your own modest apartment only if you can sustain yourself sha
Thank you. Today I went to look for houses. This business I do doesn't need me in the heart of lagos everyday as once I get a contract I can be on it for sometime, I went out towards Magboro, arepo axis. It's between 100-200# to get to Berger. Problem is the houses I saw were as from 200K excluding other charges for a mini flat. And I'm even intending to work from home for the mean time. So shop rent isn't imcluded. I haven't stopped searching for jobs too.

My brother, life sometimes may not be a bed of roses. But I can surely tell you that it will be well one day. What just dropped into my mind is that you should ask God in prayer first. God above all. Secondly don't let me decide for you, because what works for mr A may not work for mr B. Calm down and reason. The answer you find/seek is within you. God bless you.
thank you brother for your kind words. I've prayed about this over and over and the only answer I've gotten repeatedly is to move out. But move to where is where I seem to be lost.
I understand your reasoning in individuality that Mr A is different from Mr B. But assuming you happen to be in my shoes, what will you do please?

Good day everyone.
I'm writing this with a heavy heart and super depressed mind.
I have a degree in Microbiology (2.1 with CGPA 3.78) and I've searched for over a year for a job but I've not found any. Although I started a fashion business(majorly school uniforms and sport wears) here in the outskirt of Lagos with the sum of 400K. I gathered the majority of this money during my NYSC at Akwaibom. The problem I'm facing now is, I really want to live on my own (i mean away from parents house) but the cost of rent is so high that my income won't cover it in Lagos. Over this 1 year I've been able to gather up 300K, and I'm considering relocating from Lagos.
My confusion thus;
1) Is it possible to start life with 300K cash and a 2.1 degree in Lagos or any other state?
2)If I'm leaving Lagos, I'll be loosing most of my clients in Lagos, which ever state you feel is appropriate for me, are there chances I can get a job within 6 months or gather new clients for the business just to get feeding and rent money?
3)Should I sell my machines to add up the 300K to something higher for a better plan you have in mind?
4)I'm considering Akwaibom State because I found quite some favor there, but I'm still confused it might be because of the NYSC uniform I had on then. But I know jobs are scarce and schools are majorly government which are harder to get their contract . Should I still move?
P.S. As per housing, I already have everything I'll use in the house, down to Tv, bed and kitchen stuffs, everything, so I'll just move.

Kindly advise me please.
