Take a step to verify the payment status using the payment RRR number at the COREN website outside your practioner portal till it shows VERIFY. After, proceed to your main practioner portal and download your annual practicing licience.

NO.
You don't need to upload your technical reports but print the hardcopy for presentation and defence on the exam day. Any result you are uploading on your application portal should be CERTIFICATE. if you upload the CERTIFICATE, no need for transcripts.

NYSC
Degree (Tertiary Education)
Waec (Secondary Education)
Passport Photo

My proposals and experience confirmer have also approved accordingly.

However, I just read somewhere online that I need to download proposal form and proof of experience form, fill them out and upload them also.

Please how true is that, kindly guide me accordingly.

IT IS TRUE.
You have to download both the certificate of experience form and Proposal form from COREN website/any other place. Fill the forms and give the proposal form to the two guarantors to signs and stamps before you upload. Also, you give the experience certification form to any registered COREN engineer at your place of work to sign and stamp before you upload the two documents on your application portal. Ensure any person signing for you is up to date in payment and ready to confirm your request on HIS/HER portal before you engage such person. GOODLUCK..

NATE (Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering) is recognized by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) I would appreciate it if anyone could share application process, and necessary steps involved.

I have gotten my COREN certificate but I have not being given the iron seal.how long will it take to receive the iron seal because I thought I was supposed to get it with the certificate

You suppose to ask at the point you got the certificate.

am not sure of the time. but continue to check for any update on your application portal while you pray toward next council approval list.

Yes. @ Abuja, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Enugu and Kaduna. But never fix a place because COREN exam can take you anywhere within Nigeria.

No. if you are fortunate, second quarter COREN Exam might rotate towards your region.

Those Engineers that got their council approval earlier or during January, 2025. The stamps and certificates are ready for collection while those approved April, July and October are still pending.

COREN application is round the year. You can start your registration process today for you to be scheduled for next COREN exam early next year. No precise date yet.

No need to pass through NSE if you wish. but you will write COREN exam after two years on the B. Eng date.
OR if you wish. you write NSE exam after two years of B.Eng date and later proceed to register with COREN (absorption method) no COREN Exam with this method, but you present NSE Certificate to register for COREN.

To register for COREN (HND + B. ENG)
- You need two years work experience after the date on your B. ENG Certificate before you can combine the two certificates to register for COREN.

Am not sure, but with the main certificate which contain the council seal and signatures, you are good to register.

NO. the money (#68000: Full Registration) has covered all. coren will notify you when they are ready for collection.

I actually received a confirmation mail but there wasn't any message like logging in with registration or old password. I guess the mail you are talking about hasn't arrived yet. It's 2 days now.

Did you verify your RRR number from payment status page as stated?
If NO, try and verify your payment RRR. Has you do so, the system will generate an email and send you mail containing your COREN reg. number. Even ppl that paid since Wednesday were resolved.

Let m walk you through how l got my own sorted out. After l made payment through bank, l waited for more than 12hrs without any changes for payment confirmation (showing pending) on my application portal. l passed through the payment status at coren new portal, checked the RRR for two times till when the status change to successful. l went back to my email immediately observed that email was sent from coren as l checked the payment status. The email show my Reg. Number and aaked m to log-in with my R. number as user name and my old password used for application as password under practitioner page where l downloaded my practice license with my names and R. number boldly written on the letter.

You need to wait for next council sitting before coren assembly.
