jnyuwa02: Actually sir, you can switch schools before and after you get to Canada. It is a rather simple and seamless process you enact online on your CIC profile. Some people are accepted in multiple schools and change schools they want to attend last minut after getting their visa. Others wait till they are in Canada and find out that they don’t like the school they are attending. They transfer to another schools following CIC protocol online. Thank you very much for your response. I think with this, I will give my Visa application another shot. I really appreciate this. Please Mr jnyuwa02, I'd appreciate a private chat with you If you don't mind. My email: budofia1893@yahoo.com. Thanks! |

Newman1010: If you want to switch school, then you should have an admission letter for the new school before entering Canada. Besides before UCW gives you your acceptance letter, you will have to pay a seat deposit of about $6000 which is non refundable except you’re denied visa. You can’t also get to Canada and decide not to go to school until you get a new admission from another school. If you want to switch school start processing admission with other schools and also get ready to lose your deposit. I have been denied visa and my advisor has asked if I'd like to defer my admission or proceed to refund. So you see that I can get my money back. But I have not made any decisions yet. |

Newman1010: @blessedness, UCW is not a good school. Check the reviews online. They just want your money. Check Vancouver island University. What if I switch school when I get there? Instead of going through admission process again. What do you think? |

Thanks! Am also planning to change school, I hope it won't affect my visa processing? The previous one was UCW. I learnt it's not a good school, please do you know any good school with affordable fees, without GMAT and all their IELTS wahala? Newman1010: That’s not true. You can order your gcms note yourself. The difference is that you pay $20 instead of the $5 for someone in Canada. Kindly check gcmsnow.com. You don’t have to wait for anyone to order for you. It’s as easy as abc |

Please did you submit any Gmat score or ielts before you were given admission? reveal: Hello All,
I have been a silent reader and in the process of applying for a study permit.
I need help in making a choice on which of these 3 schools to do my MBA program in. Memorial University, University of Manitoba and University of Windsor. I have gotten admission to the first 2 (conditional from Manitoba - need to pay $1000 deposit), and awaiting response from Windsor. From my checks on the web the MBA from all 3 are ranked in the same category, so i can choose any based on standards. Cost wise Manitoba>Windsor>Memorial, with Windsor costing an additional 4M and Manitoba 8M approx compared to Memorial.
I am leaning towards Windsor based on the weather and location (would likely be coming with my family), though i am planning to pursue the study permit using the admission from Memorial. I want to get input from those who are on ground if there are other reason that should sway my choice towards Memorial or Manitoba. Your views are greatly appreciated. |
