80 percent of job adverts placed online are scams. Even nairaland is not left out. From their ways, it seems like these scammers are getting very desperate.....looking for whom to devour.....especially with entry-level adverts.

The following are ways in which i believe one can tell if an online job advert is a Scam.
1) If it has non-business address/ private emails. E.g. hr.pconsult@gmail.com instead of hr@pconsult.com
2) If the advert is written poorly with lots of grammatical errors.
3) If the link in the advert takes you somewhere else
4) If it requests you to send your bank account information
5) If you are asked to make any payments first or purchase forms
6) If it sounds too good to be true or Something dont seem right
7) If it promise to help you get rich quick
If the advert is not detailed and you are asked to call a certain number for details

My advise is for all job seekers using the internet to search for jobs to BE CAREFUL. Try to confirm an advert by visiting the company's website, Use Google and ask friends.

Please, my fellow nairalanders, the above list is not exhaustive. If there is a way you easily tell if a job advert is a scam, kindly share. You might save someone through this....

Av not gone for medicals. Still waiting for the result of the driving test. Don't give up, at least they will inform u if u are to proceed to the next stage or not

Bigzymes: Weeks after the driving test I had a telephone chat with the divisional sales manager lagos west, a week later I received a confidenntail male stating the salary reward for RSE that if its ok by me I should reply for them to proceed, I'm still waiting.

please like how many weeks after the driving test?

ANSU Post-UTME 2014 Registration Form is out. The Anambra State University Post-UTME Cut-off Mark and screening exam date for 2014/2015 admission have been released. Candidates who chose ANSU in the 2014 JAMB UTME and scored the cut-off mark or above can now apply for the Post-UTME screening.

SCHEDULE FOR THE ANSU POST UTME CANDIDATES SCREENING TEST FOR 2014/2015 ADMISSIONS
Anambra State University shall conduct her 2014 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Screening tests for candidates who chose the University and scored 180 and above in the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
The ANSU screening tests shall hold at both Uli and Igbariam Campuses respectively on: ANSU Post-UTME Date —Thursday, August 7, 2014.

How To Register for Anambra State University Post-UTME 2014/2015
Candidates who want to apply for the 2014 ANSU Post UME are required to register on-line on payment of one thousand Naira (N 1,000.00) screening test fee, two thousand seven hundred Naira (N2,700.00) processing fee and Bank charges and one thousand two hundred Naira (N1,200) for accessing of result, totaling four thousand, nine hundred Naira (N4,900.00) only.
Candidates are required to pay to any branch of these Banks:
Ecobank, Fidelity Bank and Zenith Bank.
Access pin codes for authorized login into the University website ( www.ansu.edu.ng) will be issued to Candidates following payment at the branches of any of the banks listed above. Candidates are to upload their recent passport photographs while registering on-line.Candidates will also be able to check their results on the website. Candidates whose photograph are not scanned on their registration forms may not be allowed to write the screening test.

The window for Anambra State University Post-UTME Online Registration for the screening tests closes onTuesday mid-night 5th August 2014.

Items/Documents to take to ANSU Post-UTME Venue
Candidates who are coming for the 2014/2015 post-UTME Screening of ANSU are required to bring along their 2014 UTME result slip, three copies of scanned Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination screening registration slip, Passport Photograph, HB Pencil and Eraser.
Handsets and other electronic appliances are not allowed during the screening tests.

Heard that for assessment centre u av to be prepared for role play, group work, presentation etc. Dress code should be corporate-casual or full corporate( suit, tie etc)
