I don’t like politics. Politicians don’t speak the truth. Regrettably, there is no morality in politics. It doesn’t justify it. I want people to see me for who I am. If Pete Edochie says this thing is black, it’s black, there are no two ways to it. In the next ten years, he still tells you this is black. It gives me honour, it gives me integrity. But if tomorrow, I join politics and make a statement, people will begin to analyse it. Whereas, in the movie industry today, I am the most respected actor. All the people who are part of the movies I feature in, respect me as their father. And it gives me a lot of honour and satisfaction because I see all of them as members of my family. So, I don’t like politics. Recently, a new administration came on board in Nigeria. A lot of people have been asking me about my expectations from the new government. And my answer is very simple, ‘Nothing.’ Buhari may stand out as an incorruptible creature. But what about the people under his administration? |
The difference between president Muhammdu Buhari and the other Nigerian politicians is his no-going-back policy. Before and after his election to become President of Nigeria PMB to most Nigerians is known by his "do what is right policy." This to some corrupt-minded people have been so skeptical that things might come to change. His overwhelming victories in 28th march presidential election was a mixed effort made of the good, the bad and the ugly of all human endeavors. For the good ones, PMB would remain their friend forever, because to them, let every Nigerian be treated equally and without fear or favor. |
Lagos - President Muhammadu Buhari has decided to dissolve the Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation with immediate effect, it was announced. |
Lagos - Since, history or evolution of man the world have gone through series of changes. Before 21st Century sex is for married couple and consented betrothed adults. Over times this proverbial sweet heaven became a pleasure seeking venture subsequently transformed to be a game of two mutual attracted individuals which they called love which in most cases turn out to be lust. Around half of 21st century sex witnessed another transformation from sex-seeking to Commercial Activity. Before I move further let me for the sake of readers define the term "Prostitution". Prostitution is the act of engaging in sexual activities to earn a living. Today, commercial sex work has gained recognition that some countries considered developed have legalised it calling the occupation CSW ( Commercial Sex Work) which Nigerian also clamour for the Law to recognise it. About 35% of Nigerians today engage in this occupation happily. The syndrome, "use what to get what you don't have" has brain-washed Nigeria to join the campaign. |
It is a really embarrassing story. I have an extreme fear of the dark, so much so that I will never sleep with my door closed and the bathroom light must remain switched on throughout the night. My husband and I were visiting my in-laws for the Christmas period. I have only met his parents a few times before we were married and this was the first time I was staying at their home. I was taking a shower when load shedding struck. In my absolute terror and panic, I ran out of the bathroom, grabbed my towel, barely wrapped it around me and screamed for my husband. I didn’t know that my in-laws had an inverter installed, and within seconds, the lights were back on again. My husband and his parents just stared at me in shock. I immediately ran into the bedroom, which thankfully was next to the bathroom. I almost died of embarrassment. My husband was really kind and comforting and his parents were really understanding. It was a horrible situation but it’s something we can laugh at now. |
