So in the spirit of giving back. Let me share my POE experience. Less than 3mins in total.

CBP: signals me
Me: nods and walks briskly to him with a grin

Me : good evening officer
CBP : Evening ma'am

Me: hands over passport
CBP: what other country were you on before arrival and how many days

Me: Uk (5days)
CBP : where in the US are you going to?

Me: could you take that again pls
CBP: are you staying in ATL

Me: oh yes I am.
CBP: why are you here?

Me: childbirth and vacation
CBP: oh thought you spent your money in London (smiles)

Me: smiles back( make I no say pass myself)
CBP: how much have you come with? Any items to declare? Can I see your custom form pls?

Me: $10,000 and my dollar card
CBP: not $10,000 and a penny? (Whilst stamping my PPT, wrote B2/ 24april2020)

Me: smiles lightly... no sir.
CBP: okay safe delivery and enjoy your stay.

CBP: oh ma'am, feel free to stay till your baby's paperwork is ready.

Me: I appreciate you sir. ( shebi this oyibo see me for dream ni?)

BTW my visa expires in Jan.

Thanks house and I will give my progress report. I just wanted to encourage someone out there.

Hopefully my VO be kind too.

Qei2u:
Everyones decision must be respected.

Pls keep ur bill around 10k for vaginal 12/15k for c/s. Keep reciepts of scans, labs, immunizations.

Stay away from texas and virginia.

Most importantly mention at POE you are having a baby.

Keep ur stay as brief as possible.....all d best.
You are far too kind...thanks. The hospital I am looking at Bill's about 12k vigina and 14k approximately for CS. I would mention that I would be having my baby and my reason would be for better health care than I could get back home and dual citizenship(should I leave that out?) Thanks Again house.

Thanks house, I have carefully read all the advice given. Though at some point I was confused.

I appreciate all inputs and I intend to travel with the existing visa, come with a clean undiscounted bill, zero balance et al( hope I am not forgetting anything).

The reason for this decision is... though I have a reasonable account statement, work ties and marital ties in Nigeria, having followed this thread I observe that they reject for flimsy reasons or at their discretion. I would be as honest as I should at the POE and come back to face the risk later. Probably trump is out by then or maybe not. Either way it would be a risk reappearing now or after birth.

Thanks for the kind thoughts and replies again.

Please house, I really do not know if this is the right way to ask a question in a thread. I need advice.

I have US Visa expiring Jan (did renewal in 2018 jan) however I have used this visa twice last year for casual trips prior to having a bun in the oven. What do you advice, as I am due in the first week of December and just got married. Hubby does not have a visa at this time and I intend to use a reputable hospital. My worries are no more change of intent letter, reappearance at the embassy et al. Should I just travel and come back with a clean bill?
