I am not Igbo nor Yoruba, but it appears that Deeper Life and indeed every other large Christian denomination has never had any issue in getting access into any part of Nigeria. I stand to be corrected though.

JAMB didn't receive money from the boy rather from a 3rd party agent that acted as intermediary. JAMB has a rule and the parents are aware of it and broke it. The only thing that could happen to JAMB is a fine for not having a robust system to prevent such candidates from registering.

In fact, JAMB should update their system to ensure that was you enter your date birth and it is below the limit automatically you can not proceed with registration.

For the sake of argument let us assume that JAMB broke the law by collecting his money that doesn't automatically free the parents from their own obligations to the law.

An intelligent surmise here.

The real crisis lies in the bolded. JAMB failed through its lack of an appropriate mechanism. The parents were only trying to beat the system. They could have appealed to the President or His wife and they could have generated public opinion in their favour if the child passed exceedingly well.

These things cannot be so difficult.

If JAMB had done the needful then this would not even arise.

Efficiency begins with the building and installation of robust systemic frameworks.

Going by your reasoning...........Jamb should be prosecuted for breaking the law. They received money from an underaged candidate. They went further to allow him take the exam. They owe the boy his results or they should refund his money.

I just checked my son's jamb results now and the response I got was "Result: Underaged and Under-performed"

How? No breakdown of the results to even know how he performed. Jamb's rule is that you must be 16 years on or before 30th September 2025, my son will be 16 years by October 9th 2025, just 9 days away and jamb wants my son to wait for another 365 days because of 9 days.

My plan was to ask for special consideration and exceptional permission. How do I do that when I don't even know how he performed in the exams? Jamb should please give us the full results. We paid for it and we need to see our results.

From an objective standpoint JAMB owes you the detailed result for your son as he paid for the examination just like all other candidates.

They however reserve the right to bar him from any admission this year as the law is very specific on the age matter. Now whether this is a good or bad piece of legislation is not the topic in discourse.

His excellent scores in JAMB however could be reason for you to apply to the President through the current Minister of Education. You could also lobby for some exception the likes of Remi Tinubu, Abike Dabiri, Arise TV, X (Twitter) your Senator, Governor, VDM etc.

On the whole the result is so wonderful that several schools in 'the abroad' would consider full scholarship for him if he can back it up with other relevant certifications.

I used 20w50 on my Belgium 07 corolla from 2012 to 2022 n there was no issue. No oil shortage, no engine problem at all though I used to change every two months. I think what matters is how often u change it, whether or not u bought original one( there are tens of thousands of fake mobil 20w50 in the market), other factors such as original oil filter, how short or long your trip is(driving to drop kids in nearby school n coming back to park at home will still keep oil relatively viscous). .most long distance transporters using Sienna use 20w50, but they use those vehicles n ply lagos to Aba, Aba to Abuja 4 times or more a week without problem. Constant long distance driving reduces oil thickness, thus, better than frequent short trips
