Please, I want to be clear about this: once a school has admitted you, does the Italian embassy require a valid B2-level English language certificate (such as IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or equivalent) in order to issue a visa?

Ok, thanks
Alapereketu:
Yes, you should upload the student/unofficial copy of your transcript to the school portal for the initial application, but you must have an official transcript sent directly from your university to the new school before enrollment. The university will almost certainly require official, sealed transcripts to finalize your admission and enrollment.

Thank you very much! One more thing: Should I upload the student copy of my transcript to the school portal since that’s what my school provides? Also, will the university request a transcript during enrollment?
Alapereketu:
For the DOV (Declaration of Value) from the Italian Embassy, your school typically needs to send the official transcript directly or provide you with a sealed, attested copy for embassy legalization. For university admissions requiring portal uploads, you should upload high-quality scans of your official, sealed documents, or use an attested copy from your school

Thank you very much. Should I also request my school to forward my official transcript to the Italian Embassy for the DOV?
Additionally, I am about to apply for admission, but the university does not accept transcripts sent directly from schools. They only allow transcript uploads on their portal. What should I do in this case?
Alapereketu:
You should request your school to send an official transcript directly to the Ministry. For official purposes like ministry evaluations, a student-submitted or student-copy transcript is rarely accepted. The transcript must be sealed, stamped, and sent directly to ensure validity.

Please, how should I handle the transcript? Should I request my school to send an official transcript directly (hard copy) to the Ministry, or can I submit a student copy in hard copy?
fwallex4truth:
Yes, but you still have to show up at the Ministry, if you are authenticating BSc certificate and transcript.
