Which judge will then discharge the ones who confessed and then have him sentenced to death for armed robbery?

The vice president admonished the minors not to allow themselves to be used to perpetrate violence and destroy public and private property.

“Not that they were exonerated from their crime. It is out of his own magnanimity. Most of the instigators of the crime and their children were not involved,” he said.

Those who recruited them to commit the serious crimes should be fished out and prosecuted. I suspect that the local politics in those 2 states, Kano and Kaduna, may have contributed as well. But for the vigilance of the police in apprehending them , their unpatriotic sponsors may have started tagging these suspects as Unknown Arsonists/ Gunmen. Smh

These guys are not innocent and I am sure that they have been well documented in case they waste this second chance magnanimously given them by the President.

So despite everything, this nincompoop was allowed to travel out of the country and still mock the country in our faces that he is above the law.

As the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a figure of authority, has confirmed a crucial legal point—no one younger than seven can go to court.

He clarified that a minor, if found to be involved in a serious crime, can be taken to court, regardless of their age.

He made this statement in an interview with Channels TV, addressing the public's questioning for the arrest and trial of 67 young children in Abuja.

These individuals were accused of treason, looting of public property, and trying to overthrow President Tinubu's administration during the End Bad Governance protest, sparking a heated debate on the legal eligibility of minors in such cases.

Speaking during the interview, Adejobi said,

‘’Those that are not criminally liable under the law are those below the age of seven. Once you are more than seven, you can be charged to court. The only thing is that you have to follow specific procedures to do that. None of them is less than seven. I think the youngest should be 13.

The fact that you are 13 years old doesn't mean you cannot be charged in court. In the Children and Young Persons Act, we can still charge you in court. 

We have charged them to court for this on behalf of the Federal government of Nigeria. The police have taken the bull by the horns.
