Becoming the PM of a country where you have to appear before the parliament and defend every Gotham policy is not a child's play. You must be very eloquent like Peter Obi to succeed.

If Nigeria had this kind of government, the likes of Tinubu cannot even come close to Aso Rock....unless APC members in the house will be cheering him up even when he spills nonsense like that town hall different line.

Mr PM, you have given your bit to your country and have written your name in the history books. Take a bow in appreciation and high esteem.

You are the one that can't think odoyo.
Students never asked for 24hrs. Even before now there was hardly 24hrs though light was constant. What students are asking for is a minimum of 10hrs
“Following the refusal of students of the University of Benin to shift grounds on their demands for twenty-four hours supply of electricity and more, considered unrealistic by the University’s Senate, the University has shut down academic activities indefinitely,” the statement read.

Shut up. School fees in Uniben is at least x3 of this nonsense 50k you are yabbing about. Meanwhile, the students have not seen light for weeks hence the strike. How do you expect students to prepare for exams next month when they don't have light? If it's not stupidity, I wonder why you are thinking like this.
Shut up and read the students demands:

“Following the refusal of students of the University of Benin to shift grounds on their demands for twenty-four hours supply of electricity and more, considered unrealistic by the University’s Senate, the University has shut down academic activities indefinitely,” the statement read.

ICTspecialist:
the students deserve light at night but the school is on a total black out for a month now.
The school fees was recently increased to 190k accomodation is up to 60k so why shouldn't they have Access to light at night?
Even at 250k pee student, they cannot have it.
The university cannot use all the money to fix light. Having light at night is understandable.

But asking for 24 hrs light is a joke

You people are suffering from a critical lack of imagination. And it’s glaring to see.

Weeks to exam, the school was happily providing just one hour of power daily. Students were supposed to read in darkness.

A demand for 24/7 power may be unrealistic, but it is clearly the first step in a negotiation that the school is supposed to counter by at least providing power for the whole night, and part of daylight. This is how a University should be run.

If the VC cannot make the basics happen, he should be relieved of his job and someone else should be appointed there.

Simple and short.

Imagine hearing about students getting one hour of power and your first response is to sneer at demands of the students who should rightly be extremely outraged.
U said it urself. Their demand is unrealistic. Period.
