There are eyewitness accounts supporting both sides of the argument, I believe the video evidence will be the deciding factor. You can't tell who is lying when two people are telling two different stories but video evidence can't be disputed.

The charge is certainly first degree murder. Motive is already established. the young man drove all the way down to WS.

It was just a thirty minutes drive from a neighboring town in Illinois and it doesn't represent a motive for premeditated murder in anyway. The DA is setting up to lose the case with a first degree murder charge. That kid is walking free

They were already chasing and attacking him before he shot the first person. I've watched all the videos, all three people he shot were attacking him physically. The first person he shot was also attacking him, watch the video here.

From what I have read, the shooter travelled in from another state with a gun he should not be legally holding. This creates a problem for his defence.

At some point, you have to realise that you enjoy black people being killed.

It doesn't create any problem for the defence if the charge is first degree murder. FYI, the person he shot was not black and I have never defended the killing of any of the black people you listed above so your accusation is baseless.

Looks like citizen arrest, then he decides to shoot more people.

The poster of that tweet lied. They were already chasing him before he shot the first person. The video of that first shooting is also available, they chased him into a service station and attacked him, that's when he shot the first person. He then called 911 and when he saw the cops coming, he started running in their direction, that's when the second video was taken of them chasing and attacking him again before he shot the second person.

Do you realize Kyle Rittenhouse was already committing a Class A Misdemeanor by carrying a dealdly weapon in Wisconsin at 17? The exception in Wisconsin for 16-17-year-olds is to use only "Shot guns" and for hunting purposes only, nothing more. So please tell me the young man was hunting deers amongst protesters..

Kyle is from Illinois and Illinois gun laws says you must be 21 and above before you can get a FOID card. Both Wisconsin and Illinois laws do not recognize stand your gorund laws.

That's the only offence he committed, the misdemeanor charge of being underage. The incident had nothing to do with "stand your ground" laws as he was clearly running away from his attackers. He didn't shoot to defend a property, he shot in self defense at people who were chasing after him and attacked him after he fell down.

Attending a Trump rally is not a criminal offence or racist, supporting blue lives matter is not a criminal offence or racist so I don't know why some people are insinuating that there's something wrong with Kyle Rittenhouse supporting blue lives matter and attended a Trump rally.

Kyle Rittenhouse earlier gave interviews to two separate reporters about what he was doing there, armed in Kenosha. As he explains in one interview to the Daily Caller’s Richie McGinness, he was there to help protect the businesses and to help people who get hurt with his medic bag, that he may be “running into harm’s way that’s why he has his rifle.”

We are getting more details on why the governor of Wisconsin finally accepted Trump's offer of help with the national guard. Apparently, the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors sent a stinging letter to the Democrat governor calling his response “woefully inadequate” and demanding he accept Present Trump’s offer of help.

Under Wisconsin law, the shooter did not commit any illegal act by being present on the streets of Kenosha carrying a loaded long-gun. As for the shooting episode, the shooter is clearly attempting to get away from the people who are pursuing him. They surrounded him and started attacking him after he tripped and fell at which point he started shooting. This is a clear case of self defense use of deadly force.
