Seriously it's so annoying..5 months wasted without anything..If na Schengen visa someone apply for, u for don know your fate and know the next thing to do in less than A month.

Good day everyone, please ooo, I have sending messages to Irish embassy Abuja since last week Friday for my passport withdrawal, they are not responding and I need it for another visa application. Anyone knows how I can quickly get my passport from them or reach out to the asap apart from through email..I am just tired because they are not replying to my messages.

They might have decided your Visa and waiting to be sent out. I’m just assuming.

The same to me. Almost 6months without update. Application submitted on 14th August 2025.

Mine was august 7th, 2025. The info at my hand was that the GIG supposed courier 🚚 is no longer in contract with them , and the new one is DHL.

Cos I went to gig hub to know if they were the one delaying the delivery cos I needed my document for something else.

Nothing ooo. I’m tired already . It’s about 5month+ of waiting now. And if anyone with similar situation has an update should post it here , thanks.

I sent them an email on December 29th, but they have not replied yet.

. I sent an email on 28th , they are repeating the same thing as earlier. They said it’s on queue and the processing time is now 12weeks due too a lot of applications at hand. Meanwhile it’s About 5 months that I submitted my application and docs .

Hello mate, why tourist visa processing in Nigeria is taking longer than expected? i submitted tourist visa 1st week of August 2025, biometric and documentation everything was done at VFS abuja. i am confused, and is astonish that no update up till this morning, 14th of November. this is autrageous. can anyone shed more light on what likely be the cause of all this delay, my original intended travel date has already passed due to the extended delay.

I think we submitted and did biometric almost the same time. My biometric was on August 7 and the application was received on 11th of august. I’m yet to receive any update till now either. Please , if you have an update about your own application share it. Or May be we exchange contact please.
