He simply said "With $2m in Nigeria you can live the sort of life people worth $200m in the US are living.". To me this means the person is worth $2m in assets, cash at hand and in goodwill.

So u are saying a person worth $2m will live in a mansion(The value of which is inclusive in the $2m), he will own at least one luxury vehicle , have at least two security pickup trucks, have at least 8 security officers in his security details, will be able to fly anywhere anytime , buy VIP treatment for himself anywhere he finds himself ,etc all inside his networth of $2m?

Pray tell, which commercial city in Nigeria will he be able to achieve all of these?
The bolded isn’t even remotely close, I would agree to the $2m to $20m comparison though, but $200m is an overkill

Below was what Elder explained as what he meant by his intial statement post that led to this discussion

I know u are smart and a fair sense of judgment on what it would cost to afford the lifestyle he mentioned up here. Please tell me, do u honestly believe in Nigeria of today a man worth total sum of 3 billion in landed assets and cash at hand will be able to afford this "lifestyle"?

I am giving u the freedom to answer the question either using Abuja knowledge , PH knowledge or Lagos knowledge .
“You’re hiring staff, living in a mansion in a high brow area, riding in a convoy with drivers, security, and assistants. You eat at the “best” places, travel when you want, get VIP treatment everywhere, and flex on half the country without breaking a sweat.”

You can honestly do all of this in Nigeria with 3b naira, nothing up there is too extreme, you’re definitely not the politician level rich but you’re a proper big man, Nigeria is a poor country flexing on people don’t actually require too much, the main thing is are you just sitting on the $2m or they’re in investments yielding returns, anybody could go broke but in the society we are today, 3b puts you up there above majority of the society because those are in themselves luxury

Some posters on nairaland are really detached from reality and are so obsessed with Lagos this and Lagos that. Folks are actually here arguing that 3.5billion wont make one live like Elon musk in a country where the minimum wage is 75k. Some of you need to actually visit other parts of the country.
Had to check if they were talking of 3.5m, 3.5b gone in a year? That’s tuff…..they’re mansions in Abuja in high brow places for less than 400m, be like everybody dey Lagos on this board

This whole rotation thing sounds good on paper but for marathons like the EPL you need a very well defined starting 11 not chopping and changing, when fit we all know who starts for Liverpool, same as Arsenal who have done well in the league, there’s supposed to be a starting 11 to build chemistry, not really a fan of this signing….the Hato deal should be prioritized , where exactly does Xavi play?

So is the honour bestowed on the Tai Solarin's family going to be cancelled like this or what ?

This whole naming of institutions after individuals makes no sense sha. They should look a more reasonable way of honoring people without distorting the prestige the names of public institutions carry.
He’s one of the few people who deserves to have their name eulogized as a true educator that he was, politicians just distort everything, very soon there’ll be two names per institution….very anyhow something

Tai Solarin university renamed to Oba Sikuru Adetona college of science and technology, what’s with all this renaming everywhere, shouldn’t there be a process to renaming things?

I just dropped my take on this before I saw yours

Barca will be his savior ,but Julian Alvarez is Barca first choice
I really want Alvarez out of athletico , Isak would end up fighting Newcastle at the end…they’re just postponing fate

Isak will end like Harry Kane if he doesn't make that big move this year or next year.
Exactly, only Barca would be looking at a striker soon….every top team already has a striker, Newcastle isn’t even on the pedigree of spurs and no three lions career to hype him up, e better get sense soon

Because the transfer fee looks decent ,unlike the likes of mudryk and now ekitipikin to Liverpool
Ekitike has his job cut out for him, even Liverpool fans are not happy cause that’s the end of the Isak talks, Isak needs to move with sense sha, he’d be 26 in two months and an injury prone player, make e no go end for Newcastle las las

Jackson is not needed

3rd striker is Guiu and he is as good as any 3rd striker anywhere

Jackson is still OK but keeping him will erode his value, let's cash in
Also fear he might cause dressing room issues, for his own career he should move on, cause I don’t believe he just turned 24

Thiago Silva’s son Isago signed as first-year scholars with Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

If he becomes another Thiago Silva, then this is a big score, T.S really loves Chelsea o
Most players that pass through Chelsea even after their peak always have more affiliations to Chelsea, people like Giroud, Felipe, Fabregas, Thiago even Saul that didn’t last here we posting Chelsea on their pages when we won the CWC, there’s something about this club

My idea is winning. Press hard up front and score. Now we can focus on staying compact from the middle.

Popizaino should subscribe to my school let me teach him football. Goals are scored when you beat the press with sleek passing.
