So long as all the projects are to be done outside the state capital. The state capital of Imo state is the most over-pampered state capital in Nigeria, if not in the world - at the detriment of other places in Imo state.

Government consent, yes. But we the masses or donators have to take charge of the whole project.

What if we establish a website where we can gather funds for major infrastructural projects in the state. The site will have names of the donors, and if you make a donation without seeing your name, then you have to raise an alarm on the site. The project to be executed will be by vote. The contract bidding will be on the site and the selection of the contractor will also be by vote. I believe we can develope our state without waiting for the government. Other ideas can be inculcated into this, to make the whole idea water tight.
