I guess it is time to go get my Sterling Bank reactivated but my fear is the porous nature of their app. I used them briefly last two years. I lost my phone and when I recovered my sim. There were debits on the account but thank God it was small money I left there.

I hardly take loans. A bank should be able to give loans to it's customers. That's just the point. Refusing to give loans to customers makes a bank less than a bank.

I share your sentiments and experience. I've maintained salary account with them for a decade and only requested loan (max of 300k or so) less than 4 times in the past ithroughout the customer journey of a decade. Last time i ever requested a lift was over 3 years ago (rarely need loans as I earn close to 8 digits annually). Am always having 7 digits up in my account. There is aboslutely no further benefit keeping such relationship with the bank when all the while they were using your deposited money for other businesses, and when you now need their shoulder, they give flimsy excuses. Even the government workers they are mentioning, how many of them keep savings?

Do you know that when I needed cash it was just my bank statement that was used by bother bank in giving me half a million. And Gtb I have been banking for for over two decades can't give me a cup of water. Gtbank is old glory. Pure and simple. I pity them. Kuda and Access is chasing hotly
