As was told by a young man:

I had some friends who were doing well, so to say. But one thing I never knew was that they were into money rituals. I am the only child of my mom and was struggling so much in life then. All my prayers to God appeared to be going unanswered, and I couldn't watch my mom suffer because I couldn't fend for her.

I approached my friends for help and pleaded with them to show me how they were able to make it. After much reluctance they decided to help me. I was very happy. At the next meeting I brought the goat which I had to run around to source for money to buy. We feasted again as usual at that next meeting, and it was at that very meeting that the leader told me that it would be my turn to be made rich at the next meeting. I breathed a deep sigh of relief at hearing that because my condition had not improved at all since I joined the club and I was already becoming impatient.

At the next meeting date when I would be made rich, I arrived at the meeting venue with much excitement. During the course of the meeting, the leader called me and told me that it was time my riches began to flow and that my next sacrifice would be my mother. Brethren, initially I thought I didn't hear the leader well and asked that the statement be repeated. That was when he made it clear to me that my sacrifice for the riches which I sought was my mother. At that very moment I knew I had been boxed into a very tight and difficult corner. To take proper care of my loving mom was the reason why I joined the club, and now to become rich, she is the sacrifice that I must make.


I asked the leader if I could say something and he told me to go ahead. I then took time to narrate how I joined the club and that the chief reason was my mom. I then asked him if I sacrificed my mother for the ritual who will enjoy the riches. I then told them plainly that that was an impossibility. They threatened to use me as I have reached a point of no return with them and could not back out at that very point.
