Former United State President, Barack Obama's half-brother, Malik Obama, has posted fake birth certificate claiming ex-president was born in Africa, precisely Kenya.

According to The Sun, Malik Obama shared a copy of what he says is the ex-president's genuine birth certificate, said he was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Malik has reignited the birthed plot by tweeting a picture of what he claims is his half-brother Barack’s original birth certificate which displays he was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

The certificate shows that a male child named Barack Hussein Obama was born on August 4, 1961 (Obama’s real birthday) at Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa.


Obama’s parents was also correctly inserted as Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Obama (formerly Dunham).

The time of birth listed is 7:24pm, which matches the original time on Obama’s official birth certificate from the State of Hawaii, his original place of birth.

Both Barack Obama and his brother Malik have had a tense relationship.

“Is it a coincidence that the so called scandal is coming up no soon after Apostle Suleman spoke against the persecution of Christians in Kaduna? Why is a matter purportedly perpetrated since 2015 coming up now. And who is paying for the high intrigue and drama daily injected into the process?

“That is our fear. That they would not be patient to allow the courts do their job. Infact, they have not even gone to court. They are not ready to wait for the truth to come out. We are reliably informed that they may kill her or cause severe bodily harm and turn round to say that it is our pastor that did it. We cannot put anything past them at this stage.

“When Archbishop Olubunmi Okogie spoke forcefully against misrule of government, the military authorities unsuccessfully tried to nail him with a woman. When Pastor Tunde Bakare could not be cowed by an unpopular administration, they also tried to do same to him. So it is consistent for the same evil men to want to shut up Apostle Suleiman as a critical voice of reason against the persecution of Christians in a section of the country."

Recall that on March 8, 2017, there was an attempt by a consortium of banks (foreign and Nigerian Banks) to take over Etisalat, due to its N541.8 billion debt.

The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC and the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN have postpone the transition of management.

The Director of Public Affairs of NCC, Tony Ojobo, the Director of Public Affairs of NCC, has said in a statement released on Saturday, March 11, in Lagos, that the reprieve came after a meeting organized by CBN and NCC to find a better way to resolve the crisis.

Ojobo said: ”Friday’s meeting succeeded in halting the attempt by Etisalat’s creditors at bringing it under any form of take over.

”Receivership was completely taken off the table in a meeting that was very productive and constructive.

”The meeting, which held at the CBN office in Lagos, had the consortium of banks being owed and Etisalat in attendance.

”The banks and the mobile network operator agreed to concrete actions that will bring all parties closest to a resolution."

He said that CBN and NCC came to an agreement on method of payment that will be convenient for Etisalat.

According to Ojobo, the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele who chaired the meeting, declared what should be done by both parties towards a quick resolution.

Ojobo also said that NCC was also concern about the protection of businesses and activites made by about 23 million Etisalat subscribers with their lines. He said, there is always need to protect the telecom industry to encourage potential investors.

”A meeting will hold on March 16 to agree on a payment restructuring path going forward.

”The NCC will lead the CBN in a possible crucial meeting with Etisalat’s shareholders anytime soon,” Ojobo said.

He said, upon their arrival, it was discovered that she had destroyed items worth $15,000 in the building and that they had to restrain her from shooting someone that day.

Recession seems to be biting everything at its sight. Etisalat Nigeria appears to be the latest victim.

Three Nigerian banks are allegedly set to take over the management of one of the top-4 telecommunications company in the country, Etisalat NG, due to a debt of N541.8 billion incurred by the company.


According to reports, Etisalat had secured a loan facility estimated to be $1.72 billion (about N541.8 billion) in 2015 from an association of some foreign and Nigerian banks that includes Access Bank,
Guaranty Trust Bank and Zenith Bank.

Etisalat Nigeria which started its operation in 2009, had obtained the loan to fund a major network rehabilitation and to expand its operational base within Nigeria.

Etisalat is using the current recession as an alibi for its failure to pay the loan. The banks affected by the predicament have dragged the telecommunication company before the two regulators involved, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, for banking sector and the Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC, for Telecommunication sector.

Etisalat has been admonished to request for a bankruptcy status in order to surrender the company to the banks.

NCC was said to have approved the takeover of the company which is to take place today.

A secret abode used by Boko Haram extremists was attacked by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF). It was able tracked some of the terrorists to the location before launching the attack.

In a statement released by NAF through its Facebook page enhanced by a video, it said the position was perhaps an ammunition or fuel dump used by the extremists.

The attack which generated a huge inferno also established the success of the engagement with the terrorists.

"The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully destroyed a logistics base concealed by fleeing Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in Sambisa.

“Two fleeing terrorists were tracked by NAF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to the concealed location where they had gone to retrieve some items before fighter aircraft were called-in for strike.

“The coordinated attack was carried out by a formation of two Alpha Jet and an F-7Ni fighter aircraft while the ISR aircraft remained overhead the target location to guide the attacking aircraft as well as provide battle damage assessment.

“The huge inferno generated by the attack suggests that the target location was either a fuel or ammunition dump as can be seen from the declassified footage of the air strike.

"The latest air strike is another major feat in the renewed air effort by the NAF to neutralise the fleeing terrorists as well as decimate their capability to regroup for attack on own surface forces and people within the nearby communities."

The Federal Government of Nigeria has distanced itself from reports circulated by the media that its has re-opened the N-Power portal for new applicants.

The President's Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity , Laolu Akande made this known in disclaimer released on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
He said the reports circulating the public, especially on the Social Media that new N-Power applications are not real and fraudulent.

The disclaimer is as follows:

"Our attention has been drawn to false and fraudulent reports circulating especially in the Social Media that new N-Power applications are now being received on the N-Power portal. There are also equally false reports and claims about an unauthorised request for vital personal information of beneficiaries on web portals not known to the Presidency or any arm of the Federal Government.

"Nigerians, especially beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries of the N-Power Volunteer Corps should ignore such reports emanating from fake sources and outlets and only relate with bonafide presidency and FG sources and web portals. For the avoidance of doubt, legitimate communication about the N-Power is done through selection@npower.gov.ng or the relevant Focal Persons appointed by each of the 36 States and the FCT.

"Any information that does not emanate from this identified sources or directly from the Presidency should be simply and outrightly dismissed.

"In due time, we shall announce information regarding the Buhari administration’s plan to ramp up the number of N-Power beneficiaries from the current 200,000 to 350,000 under the 2017 budget proposals now before the National Assembly."

Operatives of Kwara State Police Command, ‘A’ Division, has reportedly arrested a 27-year-old woman identified as Kafayat Abdulsalam, who is said to possess supernatural power to steal food.

Kafayat was reportedly arrested with stolen bags of rice and beans and some other food items she allegedly stole with mysterious powers.

She was said to be in the habit of touching the food items in the name of procuring the items, but ends up not buying them.

The traders who claimed that the touched food items disappears some moment later and re-surfaces in the woman’s lone building at Oko Olowo area of Ilorin.

According to Vanguard, the suspect was arrested by the Police command last week following series of complaints from some members of the public about a woman, who goes around, using mystic powers to move goods from their shops to her own domain.

A witness to the arrest of Kafayat by police, Abdul Suleiman, told Vanguard that about N2 million was found on her during the interrogation.

But the statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the arrest, refuted the claim that money found in her home was up to N2 million.

Okasanmi also confirmed that policemen found food items with the suspect, also saying that the suspect was in the habit of going to shops pretending to be a buyer and allegedly stole items with supernatural powers in the process.

He added that the suspect confessed to the police that she display those stolen items in her shop for sale but investigation on the matter is still on-going.
