Casting votes involves giving your thumbprint for a person as one of his guarantors that he or she will perform well, hence the future of your people should be placed in the hands of this person you are voting. That's what you did whenever you cast your vote for anyone!

My question is this:
Do you truly know that person?
Do you really trust him or you were compelled?
Who is to blame when he does what is bad, himself, those who announce the outcome of the election or the voters who gave him their thumbprint? undecided
what are you saying. Don't you thumbprint in the bank. At driver's license etc. Well, I know that's not what you meant here, but give to Caesar what belongs to him. You guys seemed to forget that part of the Bible. Why not go form your own country. This is very wrong practice practice from JW members.

@bolded
Actually, we don't . We are not AGAINST or FOR the government of where we reside. We've studied from God's word that human government cannot solve Mankind's problems. That's why as it in Jesus 'Models prayer' , we're praying for God's kingdom (Government) to come under Christ rulership and that's the only government we pledge our allegiance to
ok, please read the above mention. It also my feedback for both of you. So if every other persons should sit back and don't do their civil obligations, by at least voting. Who then will cast the vote?

Janosky:

How do you apply Jesus statement @ John 17:16?

Did Jesus speak out against political leaders of his time?

Did Jesus Christ fight for the Jews against Roman oppression?
1 John 5:19 ,is the reason for bad governance.
I see. But what's the essence for most of you guys to complain about bad governance? So casting of vote is a bad practice in your religion.

haddeylium:
Jehovah's Witnesses are peace loving people and we follow and obey the law of whatever country we reside and seek peace with our neighbors without the use of FORCE. We pay our taxes and no country has anything to FEAR from US.

We are encouraged by the FAITH of our Russian brothers and sisters and their enduring heart in this critical times. Their strength and faithfulness is a joy to behold. They are in our prayers and Jehovah will continue to SUPPORT them.
But JW members don't behave like a patriotic citizen. They don't cast vote during election day. They don't speak out even when religion other speak. Yet they blamed bad governance! So who'll speak and fight for them.

Most of you ladies lack good communication skills. You're directing attacking all men including your brother's and father. What's wrong if you say "most men"?.......

Bida Poly Lecturer Spotted Lecturing Only One Student Who Attended His Class (Photo)

A lecturer with the Department of Statistics, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, was spotted on Monday, June 28, lecturing only one student who attended his class.

IgbereTV gathered that many students of the institution are yet to resume classes since the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, suspended its 65-day-old strike on June 10.

Facebook user, Olaiya Isah, who spotted the lecturer shared the photo and commended him for his commitment to duty. Isah wrote;

of course Nin is necessary. But we're scared at the rate at which millions of our neighboring countries now have access to our Nin, due to voting. Northern government & APC has done the worst.. Pantami

Why not take our voting online. These would enable the youths to vote from home
